You know you like Odd Happenings In the Bar

So, due to the plottings of Meg-mun, Tere-mun, and I, we have come up with some silliness for the bar. Tomorrow night (the 15th), the bar will be giving out cards with drinks. These cards state certain things that the reciever of the card mus to, or the bar will not serve them. The bar has a nice sense of humour, and Val and Meg are quite persuasive when they want to be. So, to make a long story short, if you would like to participate in bar silliness, please comment to this post, and Meg-mun, Tere-mun, or I will get back to you on what your card says. If you don't really want a card, have fun RPing with the people who -do- get the cards. Wheee!

Bob - he'll be back, but he's hard-pressed to actually *do* anything, as he's a skull and sits on the bar.

Er. *guilty* Sorry - still not quite used to thinking of Bernard-as-sole-barkeep . . . do you have a problem with it? We were just thinking of it as more of an extension of the general rules allowing chars to play, to a certain degree, with the bar and what it provides.

Well, Sirius was sole barkeep before, and he was accidentally godded into behaviors all the time -- the drunk on margaritas when the bar was giving them out thing is a prime example -- but we all know that that's an issue now, so the issue is this: the bar reflects the barman's moods, and the barman reflects the bar's moods. Not just moods; metaphysical state. This is how it's been from the beginning. And godding may have been a non-issue while Sirius was "recovering in his room," but when I'm in almost every night, it is absolutely an issue that you have to bring up with me.
