I want to know what your pups' favorite things are.

You know those memes that circulate every once in a while, where there's a HUUUUUGE section dedicated to your favorite color/food/drink/article of clothing/etc?

Yes. This is what I want to know. And I want to know why. Does your pup love whatever it is because you do? Is there a canon reason behind it? Have you just randomly decided it this morning? TELL ME THINGS!

There are a ton of favorites you can discuss, here, and I couldn't find an actual list, so... surprise me?

Wes: Ewoks (canon -- although not as much as fandom stereotypes); new and interesting weapons (so very canon); cookies (less canon). As for his favourite colour, well, he'll tell you yellow (for the Yellow Aces, both flavours), but it's actually red (Rogue Squadron, bb~).

Ben: his mom, spies, curses in other languages. All canon. He also has a soft spot for bugs (extrapolated from canon), but this has never come up.

James: Girls, girls, and girls. Oh, and motorbikes. And maths. But mostly girls. I can't remember if he has a canon favourite colour, but Arsenal's his favourite football team, so it's probably red. Favourite Playstation game, GTA3 (not canon); favourite TV show, Top Gear (not canon -- he doesn't really watch TV, though); favourite person, his sister Lauren (totally canon).

Okay, here we go. Momiji's favorite stuff:

Favorite Animal: Uhm, bunny.

Favorite Article of Clothing: Judging from canon, I'd say either hats or socks, with a leaning towards hats. Because they're both functional but also come in a wide enough variety to be super cute and accessory-ish.

Favorite Color: Uhm, uhm, too many to choose from. Let's say that his favorite color is "all, except for the ugly ones."

Favorite Candy: Lollypops. Not only does he happen to have them randomly on his person once or twice during canon, but they're easy to hold when you're running all over.

Favorite Drink: He seems to lean towards milkshakes a lot in Bar, but I think, overall, he probably prefers things like hot chocolate and weird fruit juices. Because fruit stuff is more summersy, and hot chocolate is better for when it's OMG!cold.

Favorite Food in General: No clue. But he definitely <3's German food, because, really, Momiji <3's German things in general.

Favorite Music: Momiji likes JPop...and pop in general, really...but he's a classical nerd, at heart. Not being of a similar bent in either vein, sadly, I couldn't tell you exact pieces. Though Paganini probably figures in there somewhere near the top, since he's a violin nut, as well.

Favorite Vegetable: Carrots, obviously. Specifically, baby carrots, as they're little and crunchy and good for party trays. Any vegetable that you can party with has to be cool.

Randomly: I have a Momiji bunny hat thing and didn't realize it until you started playing him here! I bought it like a year ago because I thought it was cute (I never actually watched Fruits Basket, though >_>) and then I was like OH HEY COOL!

Knox: Rapunzel, his MilliFamily, baseball, beer, exclusive news stories, the smell of fresh newsprint, leggy blondes, the good guys winning

Kirk: His old ship, space exploration, friendship, old books and antiques, Iowa mornings, tweaking his superiors

Gibbs: Rum, the smell of the sea and the wind at his back, shiny things, affordable brothels, Tortuga, the camaraderie of the sea, more rum

Charlie: Questions, and occasionally answers. Tai chi, new experiences and adventures, a good scrap over something working fight about.

Dean O'Dell: Well aged scotch, boxing, good books, women of refinement and class, lording it over his inferiors, finding that rare student who makes the rest of it all worthwhile.

The following is why I love Guillermo del Toro.

LIKES: "Sentimental Education," by Flaubert. George Tooker paintings. Some Thomas Cole landscapes. The Beatles' White Album. Cold, fresh sheets, a big pillow; almonds, pine nuts and pistachios, trail mix; washing her hands, bathing, long hot showers, the smell of clean hair; flannel shirts, antique jewelry. Fire. Yup - unfortunately, Liz does love fire. Big sweaters. Silent films, especially Chaplin and especially City Lights. Kids, watching kids at play. Looking at the moon for long periods of time. Being alone with her eyes closed. Churches and cats - everything about churches except "the worship thing." She loves to dissolve communion wafers in her mouth and thinks that it makes her purer - plus, they taste really good. Snow falling, fog, the smell of wet pavement, the promise and clarity of rain-washed sky. Really soggy cold cereal. Her tomboy's big leather boots, the aroma of pancakes and syrup. Watching the pavement as she walks (she's found a few pennies), keeping her hands in her pockets and her head covered by a hood.

DISLIKES: Crowds, parties, being recognized, surprise visits, gifts (giving them or receiving them), nightfall, sleepless nights. Enya, Michael Bolton, Kenny G. The smell of air fresheners, the scent of incense. Being looked in the eye by strangers.

Random things for other characters--

Plourr's favorite weapon is her fists! And occasionally her feet. This is canonical, because she is a crazy person.

Riley really likes Radiohead and indie music, like Andrew Bird; this was entirely my own creation, because I wanted at least one of my characters to listen to something that I knew well.

Dennis is a big fan of oldschool Mario and games like that; I extrapolated this from the SuperNintendo that you can spot in his ... place (I never know whether to refer to it as a flat or a bedsit; baffling!) in the movie. He often lets Jake kick his ass at those games.

Father Mulcahy's favorite sport is boxing, followed closely by baseball and football. Canonically, he was once a(n excellent) amateur boxer, which is where I get that interest; the baseball and football come from the enthusiasm with which he is shown following baseball and football games, and getting his butt kicked in a football game. (The Catholics lose to the Protestants, big time; I think Father Mulcahy may have been the only person on the Catholic team, if the pig pile on him was any judge.) I think he's a little clueless about football, despite liking it; he comes in to the Army-Navy game cheering for Notre Dame.

Guinness, Bushmills, Silk Cuts. Honest whores. Pulling a scam on absolutely anyone, for any reason whatsoever -- but most of all if the victim is Extremely Magically Powerful And Full Of Him/Her/Itself (see, Fucking With Things Man Was Not Meant To Know). Winning gambles of any type, whether betting on cards or his own life. Basically, anything that gives the adrenaline rush, especially through magic. Kids (though he'll never admit it).

In Milliways, the cigarette lighter given to him by Kassandra is quite probably his most valued possession.

Dislikes: The entire infrastructure of Heaven and Hell (for Judeochristian values thereof) from upper management on down. Vampires. Rapists, white supremacists, fundamentalist Christians and pedophiles. Tories, Conservatives and yuppies. People with Bluetooth headsets. American beer and American cigarettes. Idiots of all stripes, which covers most humans on Earth, with an especial Sod Off to idiots who mess with magic when they don't know what they're doing. Idiots who mess with magic when they DO know what they're doing but are just twats about it. In fact, most idiots who mess with magic. Especially wand wavers. Oh, and super heroes -- can't forget the poncy buggers in tights. Hate them.

The Flying Spaghetti Monster likes booze, women, Hawaiian shirts, khakis, the color red, pasta, and pastafarians.

Lorne's favorite things are: Atlantis, flying, art, running and Jack. (Most of which are extrapolations from canon or else Millicanon.)

Harriet's favorite things are: spying, writing, Ole Golly, Sport, and chocolate egg creams. (Canon, all of them.) ETA: Oh, and tomato sandwiches.

John's favorite things are: languages, mythology, his wife, and Oxford. (Canon...more or less.)

Hmm. I'm new, so my relationship with my pups is still a tad nebulous, but here goes:

Cal: Heroin, cocaine, pot NO NO WAIT. That's over. Now Cal's favorite things are spending time with his son, telling the truth at all costs (to great cost, as he will soon find out) and not being a crappy governor. Really. Well, he's working on it. The first part's been the easiest.

Alan: Spending time with Maria, particularly when he makes her laugh; interesting, challenging jobs (he works in freelance IT); and more recently, not getting killed by aliens and has been ranking pretty high up there as well.

I concede that none of these things are, like, nouns, but I don't even know what most of my favorite items are, and I play me every day.

Mia's favorite things are gorgons, umbrellas, books, pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, tea, pink things, and most definitely her husband.

Nash's favorite things are Mia, magic (especially lightning), his hair, his hair care products, his hair care regiment, his comb, and riling up his friends.

Homestar's favorite things are marshmallows, melonade, Cold Ones, his propeller cap, his star, bread, viking helmets, parties, and singing. But if you ask him, he'll say purple, dentifrice, nachos, puppies, cellular telephones, clawed bath tubs, and the list goes on.
