How does one log on?

By either getting invited or inviting yourself. To invite yourself, right click your name on your AIM buddy list, pick Buddy Chat, and type the chat name (in this case, "thecrackalope") in the Chat Room section.

The Chat doesn't work very well. I kept getting this...

"OnlineHost: We're sorry, we are unable to send your message. Please remove the Web address and try again."

...and it's not me.

I rebooted AIM, rebooted Comp and have now given up.

I'm still getting IM's though if anyone needs me.
