In New York, a little over a month ago, gao and I were left largely to our own devices for a significant chunk of time.

A month later, this happened.

One of the questions we posed to ourselves was 'what would our most self-indulgent plot ever include?' This has at least three of these things. I am proud of it.

• Teja meets Rapunzel, and they end up plotting the secret acquisition of saddles.
  
• Teja and Captain Kirk discuss philosophical aspects of alien life forms.
  
• Teja, among others, gets a gift from Eirene
  
• Teja tells Annie Wells about the dough
  
• Teja talks to Will about the Joker, and ends up telling him his entire canon in a short version
  
• Forge post -- ongoing, as I write this. Especially notable: the thread with Xaldin. Teja gets the hang of how the universe of the Nobodies juggles metaphysics, decides that two can play that game, and promises to juggle back!

And in other news:
Asar-Suti is unhappy about dough and jungle ruining his garden.. In fact, he is very, very unhappy,, and needs faunish comfort.

Also my job interview went well but I'm stuck in waiting mode and tomorrow my car goes in to get fixed.

When I decided to play Cal, I faced an interesting challenge - all my knowledge of his canon, The Fix, comes from the soundtrack, the liner notes, and some bootleg clips of the original London show. It provides a solid understanding of the character, but I still needed to do a little work to make sense of how he gets from point A (cynical, manipulative junkie) to point B (regretful and wanting to take control of his life and fix his mistakes). (The severe lack of clue provided about this makes me wonder how much it was even addressed in the play itself, but anyway.)

This ended up requiring one*, two, three solo OOMs, a first entrance post, and an additional thread in another EP. I am very satisfied with how I ended up patching it all together, and I now have a backstory for Cal that makes sense to me.
