A PSA and a request

So I am back from the wilds of California's Monterey Bay now and will return to tagging old threads I left open with Artemus Gordon (wildwld_gadgets), Ben Grimm (ever_lovin), Jack Medusa (jack_medusa) and H.E.R.B.I.E. (nanny_bot) throughout the day. I will attempt to comment in such a fashion as to let the threads fade but if you want to continue with them please feel free. =]

And to the request...I am bringing in a new pup soon and have been having trouble finding a perfect fit for a PB icon. What I need is a woman who appears 30-ish, British, light colored hair (sandy blond, blond, brown or redhead would be fine) and with a hair style that would fit the early 1800s. She is from a branch of the British military so no waifs please and if she happens to be in a uniform all the better!

Any suggestions?

Welcome back! I'm still threading on John's post from yesterday. *rolls eyes* Feel free to have H.E.R.B.I.E. zip by. The only thing I've mentioned about him is that he cleaned John's room, and zapped (minorly) a couple of Loompas he caught peering through the air vents into John's room.

I figured H.E.R.B.I.E. and the Loompas were going to have some sort of conflict. ; p

I plan on writing an EP for H.E.R.B.I.E. touching on his week and the troubles the Loombas may have given him; misdirections, confectionery dead ends, and hot chocolate ambushes were a few of my ideas.

Quick question while I've got you...laundry is part of H.E.R.B.I.E.'s expected duties yes? How does laundry get done in Milliways? Is there a laundry room or has it ever been touched on?

Well, Ianto gave a suit to the Bar for dry cleaning, and got back a pair of costume fairy wings, a pair of mismatched shoes, and a loud necktie, and nothing else. Loompa involvement is suspected.

John's clothes... I suppose they get washed somehow. I've tried to avoid thinking about it. I don't think that trenchcoat has been washed in years. Thank gods for London rain!

hollow_art is a good place to start looking for PB's; that's where I tend to go when first starting out. The hairstyle's definitely where you're going to run into trouble, though -- know of any movies set in the proper time period that would have female characters who might fit your bill? Screencaps of an actress in a particular role might be the way to go! I can't think of much; I'm not really a connoisseur of period films, unfortunately!
