Daily Entertainment.

What canon should be cross-overed (crossed over?) with yours, and why?

Firefly's been done with Dark Tower in Milliways, so I won't touch that. I'd like to group 'American Gods' with 'Pushing Daisies', but I can't really support that since I haven't actually read 'American Gods'. Most people who know me know I want to crossover Eureka and Iron Man like nobody's freaking business, but that comes from SARAH and JARVIS than anything else. Hmmm...The Illusionist is difficult. I don't know what I would choose! Any ideas?

ETA: Ugh. Work. Back...hopefully sometime before the tenth o' never.

YA: Young Juuuuustice. Now plz.

Captain America in general, not really 1602-specific: Dr. Who. Pre-series Jack/WWII Steve. Search it in your heart, you know it to be true.

and by true, of course, I mean 'hot and ooc.' But that's what crossovers are for!

I love Who/Firefly crossover fic!

Not nearly as often as you'd expect. Mostly I've found two really good, long chaptered ones and then one where Jack was maybepossibly Mal's dad.

Hey Arnold/High School Musical.

Seriously, that one episode where they go to the opera? Iz musical episode. Arnold sings and dances with Helga. It's the perfect opportunity.

The Illusionist and Mairelon the Magician! Obvs. >.> Except for, y'know, how that wouldn't work at all, with the illusion vs. actual omg magic thing.

I have always harbored a not-so-secret desire to cross the Young Wizards and Doctor Who 'verses, because Diane Duane cameoed the Doctor in High Wizardry because she's an enormous geek, but the logistics of New Who in particular make that infeasible. Alas. (May as well throw the Star Trek 'verse in there, too -- Diane Duane mentioned the Song of the Twelve in Dark Mirror, and has used Trek aliens in the YW books. *ruffles her hair* Again, logistics are not so much on our side, but I can dream.)

I also harbor secret desires of a YW/Buffy-verse crossover even though it would make NO sense whatsoever.

Sharpe (or however you spell it) could give helga a makeover!

Except I think there was a helga-makeover episode.

I can try to findz for you later.

There is one, but remind me when I'm not running to class to screencap how horrifying she looks after a self-makeover.

Perhaps we shall go a-plotting!

Okay, YA? I am currently writing a crossover fic with Star Wars, pre-prequel trilogy. Because all the abilities and personalities easily analogue with a place inside the universe (Billy as a Jedi, Kate as a Jedi-friendly bounty hunter, etc.), and the Skrull Empire wouldn't be amiss floating around in the Outer Rim, or even the Unknown Regions.

Half-Life... is harder. I suppose that Eureka would actually be hilarious, like, say... a portal storm dropping everyone in the middle of the city. It would be golden! Or, since the creators have already kind-of done it, LOST!

Dr. John Vattic as a psychic Macgyver would be funny, but I totally have to credit Cam with putting that in a thread he did with Gordon. ACTUALLY. Going off what I know about the Illusionist, stuffing John in period attire as one of Eisenheim's rivals would be neat. They could be cold and logical at each other, or something. (It's John's SRS BSNS face.)

Team Fortress 2... might be interesting when crossed over with something even older-timey, like Oregon Trail, or with a reality show like Big Brother.

*snickers*

Or energy. Canon shoehorning is hard!

Oh well. This is what fic is for. *pushes Lone Power/Doctor fic under bed, whistling*

I actually think I remember, from the dim distant fog of my childhood.

I have this totally bizarre desire to cross over Friday Night Lights with Dark Angel, in which Tim Riggins has somehow gotten his act together enough to work for Project Manticore. (Does anyone else watch FNL?)

I would also like to cross over Monday with Sunday, in that way where it's Monday, but I only have to do the things I do on Sundays, like not go to work.
