A Discussion on Tiny Tags.

Can I make a humble request because I am lame in such ways? Either an OOC note in a tag or maybe in the userinfo of the pup's journal as to what his tinytag is? I oftentimes don't update the tinytags of people who tag into an EP of mine because I don't know what they use, or don't know how to spell it. *fails* Does this seem like a good or helpful idea?

I usually go for whatever's in 'name' on the pup's journal.

Excellent idea! Mine still all have proper tags, but I've put that fact on Teja's user info now as well, in case anybody looks.

I have seen post owners tiny!tag him as a matter of course; now they can see that's not needed.

I think the main point of tinytags is to say who's in the post, so I think whatever name the character has listed- or, if you're really stuck in a metaphorical desert with absolutely no way of asking them, their username- should work.

*nods* I get that, though I tend to use tinytags in LJSeek to find people's threads, so if there are threads that differ in tags to a wide extent, that becomes a problem?

When you go to the profile of the bar, there's an icon to 'search this journal'. Type in the tinytag in the search bar, and you should get results for what the tinytag is for. :D?
