Hee, hee, hee... A wee bit off-topic, but I think this pertains to the fun of Milliways and its characters. I ran across two links lately that I wanted to share with you all in the run up to Halloween.
A fabulous children's book, Where the Deep Ones Are retells H P Lovecraft's "The Shadow Over Innsmouth" through this parody of the classic children's book, Where the Wild Things Are. Summary is in link. Cthlulu for kids. BRILLIANT.
A non-Milliways friend of mine (
eldritchhobbit does a fabulous Halloween countdown with great links. I share with you her link to the Goth-O-Matic Poetry Generator, as we all know some of our characters are emo-tastic without the excuse of Halloween, bless them. If you'd like to share your poems in this post, they are delightfully dark and ridiculous. I created a Black Abyss of Righteous Hatred Darkly Gothic Poem in the first comment. *beams*

what have you wrought?
a miasma of blackness as perceptions twist.
once we savored bliss,
wide-eyed and glad-hearted,
but your thirst soured.
a clouded morass of agony -
tears follow night, follow blood,
love burnt to ashes.
in a burst of vengeance,
i condemn you.
Oh, Goth-O-Matic Poetry Generator - you are a thing of beauty.
