Hi, everyone.

I know I haven't been around... at all, for the past month, and I realized that you should probably know what's going on.

My dad's been diagnosed with cancer and is due to start chemo and radiation therapy this week. With the way things look, I don't expect to be back before the US's Thanksgiving.

This affects

burbonmilkshake,

frustrated_asst,

churchofthefsm, and

boomerangqueen.

Everything's okay, but I'm just really tired a lot of the time, so I don't want to start tagging and disappear after an hour.

I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. One of my family members has recently been diagnosed, as well. I hope he's feeling better soon. Take care of yourself, and we'll welcome you back when you are able to play again.

Good luck and God bless. My mother has had cancer of the lungs since 2000 (non-smoker to boot), and was given six months to live in 2006. Hang in there and remember to take time for yourself, even if it's just a cup of tea in a library with your cellphone off.
