I've been reading and catching up on Milli-happenings, and I know there are a lot of awesome things out there.

Yesfir Shostakovna and Josiah Scurlock discuss rivers, Unions, bars and, at the last look, alligators.

The fact that both of them are four is just adding to the general confusion. It's not a finished thread yet, so who knows where they'll end up, but good lord, is it adorable and I'm having so, so much fun with it.

There was some Nobody's business for Teja this week:

• Xaldin talks about his misgivings he has about Billy Kaplan and Teddy Altman helping him, and Teja promises to talk to Billy.
  
• So he talks to Billy, and is reassured about his findings.
  
• Then Teddy comes to talk to him, and he listens to the boy's story, and agrees to coach him in statecraft.
  
• Then he talks to Xaldin again, and tells him that he can trust the two boys' motives.

In other news, Bloody Mary IS NOT fries with ketchup, and vodka doesn't agree with a certain dead Goth...

Well, Gordon did Happy Hour bartending this week. The thread with Demeter got interesting REALLY fast.

And then there was a follow-up, of which I'm quite fond.

John's car keys threads (http://community.livejournal.com/milliways_bar/20713235.html) are still ongoing (slowtime = love!) but in another thread on the same post, John ends up pondering the concept of free will with Enzo. It never ceases to amaze me how he always ends up discussing complex theological subjects with a 10 year old who lives in a computer. So very cool. :)

And finally: plot in Andrew's world wrapped up with a three-part coda, of which I am really rather damn proud. Most particularly the third part. :D

Cata's Car Keys threads, in the first of which she discovers not all of her ability to deal with small children was forced upon her by a mind-altering spell.
Also, HOW DID I FORGET, Cosmo and Pepper. I'm especially fond of the current last tag on that (and not sure if this is continuing?).

In MM: Steampunk!Jarvis and Pepper (based on movie canon), because I should not be allowed to plot and scheme, and an elsegame OC greatly confuses wee!Alyx (but he likes her anyway, since she can keep up with the part about the robots).

Fat Charlie and Demeter have a chat. I love how kind and caring she is, especially when Fat Charlie's having a pretty crappy time right now.

And in MM: I've been trying out Peter Bishop via Fringe (with Olivia Dunham, and Cameron Phillips) with much fun. Threads are still not finished yet. This show owns me like nothing else, right now.

I've got a couple I really liked tonight *points upwards* Tiwa and James are just far too much fun.

Kate and Will there's an OOM that's still going but moments like this are why I love them.

This entire EP, I feel like I'm really getting a handle on Tumnus.

Also this OOM with Demeter and Teja, they work so well and I loved having a chance to do more with her.

Yes, these two work amazingly well together; Teja has got himself an odd sort of almost-family in the afterlife there, with Demeter and Carlotta.

And I like it how the original idea that came from the crossover DE, of alive!Teja meeting a mythical character in disguise, led to this, and then to Yrael suggesting that the horse fibula might work to take Teja back to Tuscany on his own, and then Teja talking to Demeter about it, which ended in him being dragged off to help with baking.

I think we got ourselves a plotlet there.-

I have been waiting for months to be able to post these threads! Mostly because I am a dork and the following exchange makes me crack up:

RIAL: What - no, sweetheart, Daddy's hair is not a new and exciting toy.
RIAL: Plourr, your daughter is mauling me.
PLOURR: Atta girl. Go for the eyes.

Also, AU Kaylee and Tony Stark bring me fierce joy, and I wrote a bunch of unrelated six-in-the-morning AU fic, and it is all Gen's fault. But I am kind of attached to some of it.
