The result:
Overwhelmingly, people want me to bring Ella back into Milliways.
While I would love to do this, I realized something else: I can't play her very accurately right now.
I'm a very auditorily-inclined person. The reason I have Crichton's character down pat is because I can hear Ben Browder talking as I type. Similarly, when I was playing Scorpius/Harvey for a while there, I was hearing Wayne Pygram (sp?) speak, hearing his sharp intakes of breath between sentences, and transcribing it.
(I should really see a doctor about those voices in my head.)
But playing Ella will be difficult, because she's from a book, not a movie. I'd need to have the book in front of me to play her well. And, while I do have the book with me here in Israel for that very reason, I think it would look very odd to my boss for me to have Ella Enchanted in front of me while I'm working.
So, the second place person, Anton Vowl (whose personality is basically governed by his elessness, and is therefore easy to duplicate), is entering Milliways now. Feel free to try and get him to say the letter 'e'. You won't succeed ^_^
ETA: I should point out that only Anton Vowl can't say the letter 'e'. Nobody who talks to him needs to undergo the stilted language he does :)
