*Conversations With Dead People, in which she gets a few answers she hadn't realised she needed (and I get to write my favorite of the book's major characters!).
*Cata talks to the Question, which is somewhat informative for the both of them.
*Cata drops in on the BLU Medic's bartending - and have I mentioned how psyched I am for the TF2 plot? She is going to have so much fun.
*Understanding Halloween gets problematic when neither becostumed person is from Earth.
*Fortunately, she gets a little closer to an answer, courtesy of RACHEL MADDOW Ouranos.

Also awesome: I get to help beta-test OTW's archive! And Dad and I may or may not be going to an Obama rally tonight, if timing/parking/kinetic energy is on our side.

It's been a while since I tried to write an appropriately surreal dream, and I had fun with it.

Also, I passed four thousand words on my NaNo novel not too long ago. WOO! \o/ I'm tempted to shoot for another thousand tonight and take tomorrow off.

Esfir and her grandfather have a long conversation without saying anything at all.

And I think this is my favourite thread of theirs so far, but Esfir and Pitor talking about worlds and being expat Russians, and it's just lovely. I didn't even realize that Esfir needed this conversation, but Gen's Piotr's said all the right things. Lovely, lovely thread, even if it is still in progress.

Recapping The Wannabe in the Weeds was never going to be easy.

I didn't expect it to be this hard.

I'm really proud of all these threads, but that one just...it is the best, I think. There's more to come (we're not done torturing our pups yet! Thanks, canon!), but the episode itself was tough to recap, and the threads coming out of it...so far, they've made me cry.

Hats off to my canonmates as well: Angela's note breaks my heart. This and this just rip it into tiny shreds.
