Captain Roll Call?

Can I get a roll call of any pup who holds the rank, given or claimed on their own, of captain? (I am also looking for commanding officers of units*. This is for random OOC crack conversation which you would be volunteering to get spammed with. Attendance is optional, and this is open for as long as needs be.)

*Insta-clarification: If your pup holds the rank of captain but is not the commanding officer role in their canon, this probably will not apply. And yes, we are looking for military/quasi-/former-military pups. Pups with ranks. Etc. Sorry, Stark. 'Director' doesn't count.

I have a Pirate King who captains his unnamed ship and he's all about the crack.

Han, obviously.

At first. I always found it very funny that he was made a general.

Teja is definitely a military commander, and before he was a king, he was a count, or comes, that is, the leader of a group of fighting men, that would be known as his comitatus -- the expression 'posse comitatus' is derived from that, but people in the Wild West that turned that into the term 'posse' didn't know enough Latin, or they would have known that posse merely knows 'to have', and that the troup of fighters is actually the comitatus bit.-

I digress.

Well, Teja was a comes and led his own men, from his county of Tarentum, as per his canon, in addition to others that might be assigned to him for campaigns or battles. That makes him the type you're looking for, I guess.-

Er...Lorne holds the rank of major, and he's not the CO of his base, but he is the CO of his team. Does that count?

Captain America. He's actually a General, and was likely court-marshaled or something besides, but still.

...Righto. Viscen, Captain of the Clocktown Guard. (also recruiting officer.)

He pretty much is in charge of the Hylian military presence in Termina. Which admittedly isn't much. But still.

Jack was a US Army Captain before he left Delta? Which according to Wikipedia means he would have commanded a Company (though not sure if that's slightly different with Special Forces, especially Delta, but he definitely led missions for them)?

Barney is the military commander of the resistance on his world (which is a good number of people, really), but is currently out of the bar.

I have another pup, Dr. John Vattic, who was a member of a special forces team, and is now a psychic/telekinetic. But he never commanded anyone.

Captain Kara 'Starbuck' Thrace?

I'm not sure what this is for, or even if I can attend *kicks finals and school in general* but uhh.

Captain Richard Ryan, yo.

Jacen holds the rank of Colonel, but is in command of Rogue Squadron at the moment.

Most of Rogue Squadron doesn't really appreciate this.

Sir Nicholas commanded rather a lot of things, and was probably a Captain at one point in his life.

Sgt. Fury leads the Howling Commandos and eventually becomes General Fury, and a lot of other titles-Fury.

Obi-Wan was a General in the Clone Wars, and Strong Bad's alter ego (okay, one of them) Space Captainface is First Lieuteneral of SBASAF (the Strong Badian Administration of Some Aluminum Foil). Does either of those count?

Captain Elizabeth Turner.

I... don't think Alanna directly fits the criteria, though she is occasionally in command of others.

I'm not sure about Nathan. Canon mentions him being a pilot in the Navy and serving tours. Also that he went to Annapolis so he had to be an officer. The picture in dress whites likewise show it. And his campaign ads talked about him being a leader. The one image from his campaign site, it looks like he was only an Ensign in that pic according to the bars on his shoulder. He could have been in command of units at some point, but canon's not confirmed much. So probably leaves him out too.

Optimus Prime, commander of the Autobot Expeditionary Force, reporting in.

Wedge is Commander at some point or other, and I imagine he held Captain rank before getting there?

AKA Star Wars has weird ranking systems and somehow 'Commanders' outrank 'Captains' unless they're on a capital ship and then it all gets weird.
