So Israel moved its clocks back one hour last night.
The reason we do this so early is because of the Jewish holidays. They move back and forth over the year, and sometimes they cross the "traditional" daylight savings time. So, instead of having a scheduled day on which to do it, the Israeli Knesset chooses an arbitrary day each year to move the clocks back instead.
This can have some interesting effects. A group of Hamas terrorists three years ago refused to live on "Zionist Time", didn't change their clocks back, and their bomb blew up an hour early, killing nobody but themselves. They won a Darwin Award.
But one of the other affects is that Israel's only six hours ahead of the East Coast instead of seven. This really sucks, because now I don't get into Milliways until 2:30am Eastern -- long after most people have left, unfortunately.
Should I bother to still play Vowl? Is there anybody still around in Milliways at that time?
