Hahaha! Dead or taken, right? Jeez.
I think our current X-Kate thread is probably -- probably -- going to make Kate think twice about trying to follow her out. It's not that she's scared of X, but with this Weapon X thing on the table, she's... how can I put this? Picking her potential battles, I guess.
But that's another thing I like about when Kate threads with X. After a month on the island and the time Kate's spent here, there are things she's just having to accept. But... the whole dead vs alive thing in particular kind of makes her stretch, and I think it's interesting to see X deal with people who're so unused to the things she is.
And I just remembered that Beth and Door met in a four- or five-way thread back when Beth and Spike were first moving to the House of Arch. Door was cursed and yuppieish at the time, but I remember Beth thinking there was nothing wrong with being no-nonsense.
