Hello!
First thing, I'll introduce myself. I'm Mitchan, and I play Severus Snape. I know he isn't around very much- sadly, I don't have DSL and can't afford to be online very often.
Anyway, I'd like to participate a bit more. A few weeks ago I came to the bar with the beginning of what could be an interesting plot, but I need some help. I saw in the cast list that Remus Lupin is around here. Where are you, Lupin? Also, I heard James Potter was in Milliways too. I'd like to chat with you guys and plan some kind of... thing!
I don't have AIM or IM, but I can give you my MSN or my e-mail.

James Potter is very definitely around. He's been dead for going on fifteen years now, not that you could tell to look at him. He came here from a plane of existence (which he didn't belong in but Lily did), essentially because Sirius was miserable. Sirius has since exited the bar for Heaven, departing without a word to anyone...including James. This has been something of a shock.
Harry has been in the bar briefly, but he has only spoken to Sirius. This frustrates James immensely.
James and Peter Pettigrew have had a confrontation recently, in which Peter, who was under Veritaserum, told James everything he wanted to know. James didn't believe him. Not only that, he told a number of people in the bar that Peter was a lying, evil, willing servant of Voldemort. This didn't go over well with Mogget (now Yrael), Crowley, Liz Bennet, Desire of the Endless or Morpheus of the Endless. Three chewings out, one warning from Desire, and one sentence from Morpheus later, James found himself wandless, emotionally blocked from doing all magic that he could do without a wand (including the Animagus spell), and plagued by a series of hellish, agonisingly painful nightmares intended to shatter his arrogance and to teach him what compassion for others is.
[Note: All this was arranged in advance by the above players, whom I thank for their cooperation.]
So--FYI, Snape-mun--James Potter is, at the moment, one of the most miserable dead people around the bar. If you see him, he looks pale, drawn, haggard and ill. He moves like an old man with arthritis, as the pain from his dreams carries over to the waking world. His hands tremble violently. He has trouble holding things. His few attempts to stop the dreams have only made them worse.
He is not having a good afterlife.

I'm going to post elsewhere about what I think (and what James, to some extent has said) about their marriage. That's rather long.

Maybe we can do something about James. :P
Can you add me again to Yahoo!Messenger, please? Or if you prefer, I can e-mail you.
