Does your pup wear jewelry?
Mal: Just his wedding band.
Sallie: She has pierced ears, and various necklaces and whatnot. A particular necklace is from Jack Twist one Christmas.
Carlisle: According to the movie, a big honkin' ring with a fake family crest on it. O_o; I'm sure he has a collection of classy doctoryascot tie pins somewhere.
SARAH: I'm gonna go with 'no', here.
Eisenheim: Nope!

After a quick googling,I have discovered that there are two football(soccer) teams calling themselves Gotham City, but no apparent (American)football teams in existence, even fictional. The DCU, apparently, is a Baseball centric culture.

In Knox' version of Gotham, I have relocated the New York football Giants (as well as the baseball Mets) to Gotham. I root for them, thus Knox does.
And while the DCU - like a lot of SF worlds - seems to have a lot more references to baseball than to any other sport, Guy Gardner and Booster Gold were college football stars and Clark Kent (in some continuities) was a high school football star.
