I'm in so the wrong journal, but unless Lynne corrects me otherwise, SARAH would receive an invitation. Since she's, well...a gigantic house, this makes attending things rather special. However, canon provides a workaround! Could I possibly secure a thread with Meghan between now and next Thursday?

...is there any chance the party could be held at/in SARAH? Because then (with help from Tom or Ingress) Rose could attend.

I as the mun don't have a problem with it, though SARAH is technically in Milliways in her entirety when she is accessible in the bar. Would this not present a problem for Rose-participation? I'm not sure what the logistics there are.

I'm not sure how it would fir with game rules, but in terms of Rose cosmically not be allowed in Milliways as an IC way to enforce game rules: yeah, probably. Oh well.

The next two evenings are rather shot for me, but aside from that, I'm pretty flexible.

Awesome -- The next couple of nights are shot for me too, as I will be fleeing to Boston. But essentially, SARAH would end up giving Meghan a Eureka-esque walkie talkie to take to the party so SARAH can at least listen in. With threading starting this weekend, can I put SARAH in the party with the speaker on a table or whatnot?

Absolutely.

We'll handle the set-up when we can. And you can handwave Meg's setting up the speaker-walkie-talkie thing on a table in the room. Meg is the sort who would provide a helpful sign, letting people know why there was a speaker on a table, if that's helpful. (If SARAH is sending a gift, you can assume Meg took care of delivering that, too, if you'd like.)

Hi! Please don't think I'll be offended if my character can't attend, really and truly, but I'm curious as to just how loosely the word "friend" is used. Kate's really kind of an acquaintance, I figure, but since she's the type to go to a party when she's invited, I wouldn't want not to let her act however's appropriate.

X's definition of 'friend' is ridiculously broad. Kate definitely counts. To her.
