[OOC: Oh look. I'm back. And I bet no one noticed I was gone. :D]

So, Bartleby's coming back this weekend. And I'm not even going to try to catch up on plotlines or anything, but what I would ask is: if Bart knew you before he left, and your physical appearance has changed (even something small, like you're wearing a ring, whatever) or there's something he's likely to notice about you, can you let me know, please?

[livejournal.com profile] brindlepup, dunno if you'll read this, but we need to talk about what's happening to the Fool. :D

Also? I missed you all. *hugs everyone* College is crazy.

Raph's sporting a human body.

Peter looks about a jillion times better than he once did, for the following reasons.

1. He no longer looks guilt-stricken and terrified, as he would have back when Bartleby knew him. He's happy, confident and, for the most part, at peace with himself.

2. Losing the burden of fear also subtracted much of his aged look--he no longer looks fifty, but his actual age of thirty-six.

3. He's wearing jackets, shirts and trousers, as opposed to the shabby robe he was wearing in Bartleby's time.

4. Bartleby may see Peter carrying a crystal case of potions, ointments and salves. It's the equivalent of a doctor's black bag; Peter has become an unofficial Healer in the bar.

5. He is wearing an engagement ring (http://www.livejournal.com/community/milliways_bar/797237.html?thread=27534901#t27534901) on the third finger of his left hand. If you've forgotten, Peter's left hand is his human hand. The right one is made of living silver.

6. Bartleby will likely see Peter in Liz Bennet's company at some point. That is because Peter is engaged to Liz.

Does that help?

Welcome back! Where was Bartleby last? Does he know Snow had the kids?

Welcome Back!

I wasn't playing when you were around, but I have wanted to RP with Bartleby!

On a side note: Do you know Loki-mun? Cause if he/she doesn't want to do it anymore I am dying to play him!

Sirius left and Bernard is the Barman now. I don't even know if they met though. Did they?

Liz is still very much 1811, apparel-wise. She never went back to wearing trousers.

Because of some utter madness a while back, she is linked to Dream. And I do mean linked. They swap emotions, she has access to a bit of his power... linked. She's a little Endless, he's a little human. You know how these things go. It's not anything Bartleby would be able to see or really sense, but I'd rather bring it up now so you-the-mun know.

She's sporting an engagement ring (http://www.livejournal.com/community/milliways_bar/892709.html?thread=31351077#t31351077) on her left hand. Peter outdid himself, if one can translate jewel-language.

She looks older. Not aged. More like wiser, more knowledgeable. She's been through a LOT since she arrived at Milliways. Not to mention that she's linked to a remarkably somber Endless, and the seriousness bleeds through the link quite a bit of the time.

She'll also be found in the company of Peter quite a bit. This is to be expected.

And for the record, I did know you were gone, and missed you madly. I have, for the past several days, been contemplating spamming your personal journal with WTF? comments. :D

*hugs* to Bartleby-mun! Glad to see you back.

Not much different for Tonks. Still with Charlie, still living in the House of Arch. She and Crowley deposed Cornelius Fudge a few weeks ago, that was solid good fun. And actually, Crowley and Tonks were discussing whatever had happened to Bartleby not long ago, and both of them assumed he was still locked in that room, presumable forever now that Sirius has hared off to the Beyond with the keys. They were both somewhat heartless about that, but can you blame them? :D

Anyway, looking forward to some angelic insanity from you...but try not to break Tonks' nose again. ;)

I so want Raph to be there when Bartleby walks in and tries to assume control of the bar. He may just get his ass kicked in the process...but at least he'll get that suckerpunch he's always wanted.

Hurray! Bartleby! I was wondering about you the other day, thinking we'd lost you forever!

Well, obviously you saw Door has a ring, and Tom is the one who gave it to her, so...

Tom is actually happy for long periods at a time now, he is utterly devoted to both Ingress and Door, and he has not used Dark magic since well before you left. As a result of the ritual last night, he is also now an Opener. He laughs a lot more now and does a lot less sulking and glowering. He also has started to not hate himself for becoming Voldemort in the alternate timeline.

However, I'm sure he won't be welcoming Bartleby back with open arms. Door had some serious issues with ethereals after Bartleby, and the whole protecting Ingress and Door thing will be foremost in his mind.

There is a rather amusing former Dark Lord club running at Milliways - Tom and Anakin Skywalker have become friends.

Did Door-mun mention Ingress and her Companion? Ingress was Chosen to be a Herald by Megwyn, a mystical horse from the Valdemar series. It caused serious angst and trauma. So Ingress will likely be seen in the company of a white horse from now on. Who will protect her. A lot.

I have been collecting memories all this time - if you have spare time (ha, ha, I know - what's that?), look in [livejournal.com profile] young_tmriddle's memories if you want to catch up on some of our plotlines :)

I noticed! Gabriel is the same as ever (and I don't think she heard about Bartleby's freakout). Also, I'm playing Utena, too.

After Bartleby left, Mogget tricked Kassandra into uncollaring him, leading to Yrael as a eight-foot pillar of white fire burning part of the bar and blinding Sirius. In repentance, Mogget provided the medicine to heal Sirius' eyes, just in time to be whisked off to his own world by his binding there. He just missed Kassandra and Sirius leaving, and was v. miserable for a while.

Now, Yrael (Mogget), through a long and spread-out plot involving the appearance of his sister Kibeth at Milliways and the subsequent finishing of his canon, has been freed. No more collar on the kitty, and he can now change shape at will. Usually seen either as the usual white cat, or a pale young man with white hair, all in white, with green eyes. He still has his box in the back corridor that Kassandra gave him, and he considers it home. He's taken to trying out unusual mixed drinks, usually ones with some ironic meaning.

He's still really snarky, of course.
