Ok. This is my attempt at a plot. I am perfectly aware of the problems this may bring- namely, if the person who plays Lupin starts to play, he/she will have to be informed of the plot, and follow it. If this causes severe inconvenience to somebody (for whatever reason), I'll fix it up someway. But please tell me, 'cause Severus won't like being found out to be bluffing!

I'm guessing that it'll take all of five minutes for someone to find out that Severus is bluffing, what with Tonks around as much as she is. You can try to keep it up as long as you like, but lies don't tend to last around Milliways.

Actually, Tonks, Charlie Weasley and a number of other Potterverse characters have mentioned seeing Lupin at Order of the Phoenix meetings. I assume that Snape is lying to upset James, since as a member of the Order of the Phoenix, Snape would surely have seen Remus Lupin around.

Um. Well, that has a huuuuuuuuuuuge impact on my character, because Tonks works closely with Remus and, as I play it, the two of them are good friends. Remus dying would pretty much break Tonks at this point in time. Even though he hasn't yet come into the bar, he's still referenced a lot, plot-wise, and this really puts a wrench in that.

Of course, Remus is in no way under Tonks' purview, but this seriously affects the way my character goes about her business.

And, if Remus-mun ever does decide to bring him in, or hands over the character to someone else, their options are going to be really limited in terms of what they can do.

But...I'm not a mod. Maybe you should talk to one of them.

I'll clear up this mess.

1. I didn't know Remus was being mentioned plot-wise, so I just supposed that I could say he disappeared (disappeared, not died) so I could, well, do things like organizing rescue parties and such.

2. Giving that Remus has not actually disappeared according to you, I'll make it as if Severus is just bluffing, and it was someone else who disappeared.

3. Is that OK with you? Or can we do something more fun?
