I would normally be able to play tonight, but I randomly got five shifts this week instead of my usual four and lost my Sunday night off. I have to sleep soon, but if you can make a starting post using the aforementioned ideas, I can at least tag in slowtime until my next night off/our next schedule alignment? Or we can make it a cooperative single post thing, for simplicity, but I can think of things to discuss in a thread.

Well, if it's set too late after arrival, they'll be watching movies and therefore not ideal for conversation. But if it's too early working in the scene-setting stuff is trickier.

Maybe in the post people (including Rose) have arrived and been introduced and the thread itself begins as they are settling down to eat, so Riley is able to get away from the grill/turn it over to someone else and actually have a conversation? Does that work?

Coyote bringing a Milliways army to Las Vegas was awesome. Mad love for Jo for running it, and for everyone involved. I can't even count the number of times that somebody's tag made me shriek with giggles.

Also there's an OOM, but mostly I am impressed I didn't hit anything I shouldn't (except that curb once but it was totally made up for by the excellent soundtrack, no matter what

silveraspen will try to tell you) with the very large rented truck.

Not really in-thread awesome (save for the AWESOME that was the Coyote!Vegas plot) but I've got a few ideas for some OOMs that might get cooked up in the next week or so. We'll see.

Um...I'm cleaning up my room and cleaning off my desk and generally doing laundry and attempting to be productive. My sleep schedule is all messed up and work tonight is going to be totally not-fun but hopefully there will be a nap in the cards...

I don't have much in the way of threads this week, though Moist did talk to Coreen and actually got to participate in the paper airplane chain (considering three weeks ago, that would have ended in tragedy for the plane... it's a big thing). He had a pretty neat thread with Cal resultant of his attempt at throwing the thing, too.

And in MM, I have a test run (that is still v. much open, incidentally). Don't know yet whether it'll lead to an app, but! It might, since she's fun.

Meanwhile, over in fic land, I wrote one new thing and posted my remaining Sweet Charity assignments.
*Sweet Charity fic, in which Pepper collapses and Jarvis has to be the adult in the situation (but Tony does an adequately grown-up job as well);
*the other Sweet Charity fic, in which 'post-canon Sneakers caper!' turns into 'MARTY AND COS SNARK AT EACH OTHER A LOT';
*And the new kid, which is a Dr. Horrible/Disney!Beauty and the Beast crossover. Yes, really.

Phoenix and Val and I finally finished a month-long Epic Thread of Epic in mixed_muses. Involving post-canon Felix Gaeta, Kaya (an OC), some really nasty NPCs, assorted wildlife, and a Faith Ex Machina. Warning for violence.

Also: Andrew Wells has visited Duck's world to help her out. Interesting encounters ensue. :D
