West update
Ack. I completely forgot to post this until just now. Many, many apologies. Hopefully this won't mess anything up for anyone. If it does, feel free to fuss at me in the comments and we can figure something out.
As of this thread the crime scene is hidden from view. To quote Tom: "Anyone walking past will simply see the wall of normal landscape. Security will be able to walk through that wall and not be seen, either." And "This will make ordinary passersby be more likely to not even notice this corner of the grounds. Anyone who's been here will be able to access the site, but you might want to give a detailed description to those who have not."
