HI!

If you have been watching crackchat, I am Tom (Evil Chicken mun). Anyhow, before I put my pup in for his (and my) first time, I wanted to know how crowded do you guys think the rafters are. I was thinking of sticking the Evil Chicken up there, but I noticed that besides Raven, who lives up there (but hasn't been around in a while, oddly), there are various people who like hanging around in the rafters.

I can remember Carlotta being up there as well as Elle. Someone put up cargo netting in between two rafters to serve as a big hammock, or at least tried to, and I think at some point there was a Cybertronian up there practicing martial arts.

However, the bar is probably in a big building (all those tables omg!). Then again, Cybertronian martial arts.


So, a curious chicken wants to know, is there ever a moment of peace in those darn rafters?

Oh, probably not, it's a 24/7 bar anyway. How does Raven ever get any sleep? :P

Ha, for a minute I thought this was the Sword of Truth Evil Chicken and didn't know whether to scream in delight or terror.

Hello! I don't hang out in chat much because I use AIM through Gmail. BUT. Mel spends a lot of time up there - she does much of her Security work up there, and so does Stephanie Brown.

I've also seen Vic Sage up there a lot,. Generally I'd say there's alweays someone, but usually just one person.

There are sometimes one or more squirrels up there too. Not all the time, but when they get in one of their moods. They're like city park squirrels, not afraid of people or bothered by much.

River Tam occasionally spends time up there. Several of the other ninja-sorts and flying people do too, but I couldn't tell you exactly which. (Some of the ninja turtles, now and then, I think.)

Millicanon says sometimes people stash things like candy up there in corners. Not all that often, I don't think, but River did find a bag of Hershey's Kisses to throw at people once. Years back, there was a stuffed raven up there for a while, but I don't remember why, and it may have vanished at some point.

And there's at least one air duct that the Loompas sometimes use, IIRC, although I don't think they generally show their faces when patrons are around unless there's a huge mess. Bing can correct me if I'm wrong!

As you say, basically, it's a 24/7 bar. The rafters are about as quiet as anywhere else in the main bar, and less crowded than some!

Stitch tends to crawl about on the underside of the rafters while transversing the bar. Though it's just as likely he'd be encountered at ground level. Damned aliens. Always under foot.

That was Ace (nitro_is_ace) who had the cargo nets up in the rafters.

My pup Olga (olyabird) has been known to hang out in the rafters, in her owl form.

Sometimes Will Scarlett can be found up there but usually not in the summer since he goes up there when he can't find a try to climb.
