Steph has requested an emergency DE
Everybody has at least one track on their iPod they would rather not own up to. What's your character's?
(Character does not have to actually have an iPod to play.)
...and for that matter, what's yours?
(Too High For The Grocery Store, probably, for me...)

Or NSYNC.
Anything that can only be spelled in capitals, apparently.
(Acid reflux. Have been ordered to bed, but it hurts to lie down. Quandary.)

... James has some Madonna on his iPod. It's his gay BFF's fault. :\

As to pups, I think Ben is the only one I have who would have any secret shame music and it would be ABBA. The song and playlist is password protected so no one else but him can even see it.
And the youtube video of that guy who looks like Ben dancing along to Dancing Queen? Totally faked despite what Johnny will tell you.

I own a lot of wizard rock, songs by the Eagles, the Beach Boys, and Michael Jackson, which I wouldn't have owned up to a couple of years ago. I remember a conversation I had with my dad bout this subject:
Me: Okay, I've been denying it and covering it up for long enough and it's time to come clean. I love the Eagles. I thought I hated them, but I was wrong. I just like too many of their songs.
Dad: You like the Eagles? Really? You like that California rock?
Me: *nods*
Dad: Well, at least it's not the Beach Boys.
Me: ...........too late.

I have a few songs that I don't mention when asked what I have - mainly stuff from/based on video games or Charlie the Unicorn - but nothing I'm particularly ashamed of.
Felix is of the opinion that if you don't want something known you shouldn't provide opportunity for it to become known. Thus, if he had a music player (which I would kind of like to give him at some point), it would only have stuff he'd be willing for people to know he had. He wouldn't advertise it, but he wouldn't hide it, either.
Kain-who-is-not-apped would have a full playlist of these. I have no idea what specific songs, but they'd be the ones that remind him of Rosa.

I am embarrassed by nothing on mine!!!

Mike? As a rule has no shame. None what so ever.
Me? I make apologies for having P!nk and some Britney Speares in my music library.

Let's see for my pups, I don't think any of them have that much of a music collection. Will, Tumnus and Jane wouldn't understand the technology and I think Demeter just isn't that interested.
The Pirate King really brings his own music along though I could see him becoming strangely fascinated with Sondheim one day.
For my just apped but not approved pup, the closest music thing he'd have would be in Ancelstierre and I think he actually really enjoyed the dances that happened there. In my mind Ancelstierre is very like England around WWI so kind of ragtime and such.

Absolutely. No. Regrets.

*looks right*
Ever since seeing that one Star Trek vid, "Circus" by Britney Spears has been on semi-constant rotation on my iPhone. I CAN'T HELP IT. IT KEEPS ME AWAKE WHEN I DANCE TO IT.
(I think it's on Sylar's iPod, too. *solemn*)

But... I don't think there's anything on there I'm embarrased to have, so! (This includes songs from Muppets Treasure Island on my Pirates! playlist. *ggls*)

Ray was trapped on Cthulhu Mythos Earth for around twenty-five years, and spent most of that time working as the assistant to the Miskatonic University chief librarian. Mostly his job was taking care of the Library's restricted section, which is where they stored the books that could drive people insane. He did a lot of restoration and preservation work and such, but he also had to do daily maintenance like dusting. When you're around creepy old books like that you do a lot of things to keep yourself from getting wigged out.
A band of Miskatonic students once caught him dusting the Restricted Section while singing "A Professional Pirate", from Muppet Treasure Island, and more or less roped him into helping them put on an actual musical production of Treasure Island for the drama department. He still hasn't lived that down.

People who live with me may have a J-pop problem, but that's a different category.
Pups? Hmmm.
Ako seems to be guilt free on the music front.
Tyler just wants the remixes to go easier on the ultrasonics (Friggin' werewolf DJs). There is no shame of having a tape of your girlfriend playing the Rite of Spring.
Jerry has no shame and an extensive collection of Weird Al CDs. He sings along.
and Yuuno has a fondness for some of the MId-childan pop stars. This might be shameful if most of his friends weren't girls and able to kick everyone else's asses.

Trowa says the same thing, but by staring at you impassively. That said, his sister listens to lots of sparkly bouncy pop stuff, and I suspect some of it Trowa secretly likes. The stuff actually on his computer probably slants pretty classical.
Lan, I have no idea. He's a traditionalist anyway.
Edel has a music box. It plays cryptic hints that she's a puppet, which is to say music from Coppelia. I can't really picture her with enough comprehension of leisure time to have an iPod or similar, nor enough agency to have music preferences. (And Uzura is a toddler and has no shame.)
Regan secretly loves the FFverse equivalent of cheesy disco, and a handful of ridiculous musicals. She can sing along with lots, although she doesn't if she thinks anybody is listening.
