So Your Character Thinks He/She/It Can Dance?

In this EP, a segment from Sam and her friends' webshow, iCarly, is playing in the bar. If anyone's character would be up for taking part in the dance contest, I'd be all for it! The idea of Sam having to explain videos of dancers from Milliways to her two friends who haven't been to Milliways makes me laugh, a lot. This isn't any kind of plot and there's no time commitment involved; it's just crack.

If you want to say that your character saw or heard about the broadcast and decided to submit a video, there are multiple ways to go about it! You can drop a comment on that EP with an explanation of the dance that your character submitted via the iCarly website; you can have your character talk to Sam about it, as she's around and available to answer questions and/or accept submissions; or you can talk to me directly (Lexie: lynne a licious on AIM, or not.an.effing.barbie[at]gmail[dot]com) and we can handwave it or work something out! I'll reference anybody from Milliways who submitted a video, when it comes time for Sam, Carly, and Freddie to review the contestants.

EDIT: I'm probably getting toward the end of my night here, but the post is going to remain open to anyone who wants to submit dance videos for at least the next four or five days!

For the record, I wanted to read this so badly that I had somebody else copy and paste the entire thing into an email while LJ was down for me all afternoon.

And it was so worth it.

EDIT: And! Leg warmers and wrist bands and glitter, check; miming to MC Hammer, some sort of Goth dance, "Mini-Me" doing the shopping cart, other dancers, and a montage of Vanilla Ice, Air Supply, Weird Al -- all check. Anything else I should know about what exactly is on this? *cracking up*

Backup dancers and lots of dry ice definitely put in appearances. Let's assume that in addition to all of the above he either mimics the artists' own... distinctive moves or does an interpretive dance to snippets of the following:

Parents Just Don't Understand, by DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince
Total Eclipse of the Heart
And...

this is the one that really makes me laugh...

Other question: would Frau have appeared or been heard anywhere in the video? I ask because the same actress plays the kids' evil teacher, and that's something they'd notice.

Yes, definitely. She yells 'ACTION!' at the beginning, and also appears as a back-up dancer during the Madonna and Britney Spears segments. Expect some close-ups. *solemn*

Um... They are in keeping with the videos/themes? MC Hammer pants! Britney's midriff baring top! Madonna's cone bra! *hides* And a cowboy ensemble for Bon Jovi. Mini Me gets lost in a ten gallon hat? XD
