Tattoos, piercings, brands, even scars-

Does your character have them? Did they get them in canon, or later in Milliways? Or are they planning on getting them? (Well, probably not so much planning to get any scars, but life happens!)

Mal recently got a tattoo of a picture of Inara on his shoulderblade. He has another tattoo on his hip, and various scars all over the place from his extraordinary capacity to make friends. :D?

Charlie has no tattoos, but a few little scars from various stupid things, like cutting himself on glass; he also has a bite scar on the back of his shoulder from being bitten by a wereleopard, and that was Milliways' fault.

Kida came with tattoos.

Micah doesn't have either and won't be getting them, thanks very much.

Ganymede has none, currently, but isn't closed entirely to the notion of either, depending on how he gets them and from whom, or in the case of a tattoo what it says/looks like.

Anita has scars like whoa, which is amusingly convenient to make her look badass when canon needs her to be. She has the healing properties of a lycanthrope, so technically, she should have any, but she somehow manages to keep hers.

Nathaniel has some fine scarring across the back and front of his torso from various silver implements used during his career as Gabriel's best whore with no limits. He also has the scar of a bite wound on the inside of his left thigh where Asher always feeds, ensuring the scar remains indefinitely. There are hopeful plans for piercings when it comes to Nathaniel, because he is envious of Zane's and Caleb's piercings. XD

Námo has two scars. Way back when in Milliways, there was the Valar Duel, and Námo still bears the scar from when Melkor's sword ran him through. The other is a thin scar across his stomach where Gorlim's sword -- during a practice duel before the Valar Duel -- sliced him.

Dorian only has a scar from the removal of his appendix when he was fifteen.

Moon has a tattoo low on her pelvis, a crescent moon that sparkles in a way. It's the marking of what she is. It's been there since she Awoke.

Ruin has a tattoo of ten swords along his spine, given to him when he was Made into a tarot card and marking him as Ten of Swords. He has several scars from being a farmer for most of his life.

Tristran has been generally scar-free until:

1) He met Yvaine
2) He came to the bar.

He ended up getting a pretty wicked scar on his chest from the arrow he'd received the last time he helped with the Tax in Sherwood.

And his hand will forever be kind of an ugly, slightly mangled and scarred thing from holding an unlit candle into a blazing magic fire.

For some reason, I can totally picture Seth eventually getting himself a tattoo to look a little more hardcore. Haha. Maybe something with a wolf, because he's predictable like that.

Susannah has pierced ears and considerable scarring from losing her legs, as well as some odds and ends from her time in Milliways and Mid-world.

Rose has one tattoo and pierced ears; she meant to get her navel pierced, but never got around to it and has since lost interest. She's thinking about adding an hourglass on her ankle, though, and maybe another ear piercing, once she's done touring small town America.

She has quite a few scars--a zipper on her chest from heart surgery, a bullet scar on both sides of her right shoulder, one on her front right hip, and a few speckly dark ones on her shoulders from spider bites. And a minor shadow under her right eye from a broken cheekbone that never healed properly. She has managed to avoid breaking her nose so far!

In the Alice timeline she has a different tattoo, and eventually loses her arm. Her nose is a little different, too.

notallwho has the most tattoos and scars of any of mine, I think, but no piercings at all.

Yuna has ear piercings, but nothing else; magical healing is plentiful in her world and doesn't leave much in the way of scars. Which--I don't know how that works with piercings, but plenty of people have them. Visual design trumps realism for FFX.

I think Harry Truman probably has (one) tattoo, but I have to think about what it might be.

Monkey... even when he had a physical body, it was made out of stone. His eyes are permanently bloodshot, though.

We've seen enough of Doctor Girlfriend, as of her wedding, to be pretty sure she doesn't have anything but piercings. (Not enough to be sure how many of those, though...)

I refuse to think about D'Hoffryn's anatomy under that robe, sorry. I invite other people to make something up...

Mel canonically has a biohazard symbol on her upper arm, and I don't see her as the daily makeup type, so her fingernails and lips are also tattooed purple.

She also - OK, I can't get at the picture while a certain person lacks a paid account, but you know that turtle tattoo? Mel has a smaller version tucked under her hip.

Piercings: ears twice, nose once, and outer labia.

Scars: One line across her face. One silver clawmark across her shoulder and collar bone. One bullet mark on her thigh. One bitemark on her neck. Numerous smaller marks from life and stuff.

Will has his ear pierced because he's a MANLY PIRATE. Also scars - one deep cutmark on his chest from where his heart was cut out, and a crisscross of marks from the lash o nhis back from when his daddy beat him.

Dinah has her ears pierced and no tattoos. She has minor scars from injuries of varying degrees; nothing major. When she grows up and is tortured to near death, she'll have scars from that (which prompt one bad guy to ask if she's into S&M). Then she'll lose them all (and about 10 years, by my reckoning) after falling into a Lazerus Pit.

Renee has her ears pierced, no tattoos. Various scars, but nothing of note.

Death is a skeleton.

Claire repierces her own ears every morning after the holes heal over. She has no scars at all, and tattoos might even wash off, because she does reject foreign bodies.

Don't ask how future!Peter got that scar. I DON'T KNOW.

Yrael's coloration is pretty much a scar, itself. It's the one thing he can't change about any of his shapes, due to his being imprisoned in the white-cat-with-green-eyes shape for so long. Like a full-body answer to manacle scars on one's wrists.

Sunshine has an apparently long-ago-healed scar on her chest from the poisoned wound that was healed a few months ago. It looks like an old wound, but she's very much aware of how recent it is. Her ears are pierced, but she doesn't have any tattoos. Ornamental tattoos (non-magical) are "for wusses," in her world, but she doesn't want to spare the mindspace for dealing with a live tattoo. She doesn't know how Mel puts up with all of his, and doesn't want to think about it. She'll get a couple of more scars (physical and mental) before canon's done with her.

Zelgadiss has skin of rock. It breaks swords and just about everything else, so no tattoos, brands or piercings for him. Though it might be argued that his shape is a kind of branding, as it does (once) allow Rezo (the guy who transformed him) to put him under his control.

It... would not be entirely unlikely for Frederic, having been a pirate, to have some kind of tattoo. That said, it would be something small, probably on his back, arm, or leg, where it can be easily covered by his clothes.

Felix, in all likelihood, has scars from learning to use a sword, but nothing dramatic enough to show up on his character portrait. If I ever get around to working with forty-year-old Felix he'll have a scar running from his hairline across his left eye to the corner of his jaw. At some point I ought to figure out the story behind that.

Jerry has a growing collection of minor scrapes and scars from being dragged through classical Greece.

Tyler has a growing collection of scars from gun play, shrapnel and the other assorted hazards of dating a mover and shaker in the modern supernatural community. Of course neither of them used to get many drive-bys before they started dating...

Yuuno has no scars visible. Magical healing for the win!

Ako's back is one massive diamond shaped scar. This is shy she doesn't wear tops without sleeves.

Raph has quite a few Milliways Inspired markings on his body.

First there's the simple fact that due to the nature of his transformation scars that once lined up on shell, three-fingered hands, and two-toed feet don't so much on a human body design. Even smaller than that is the fact that he doesn't have proper fingerprints, but rather symmetrical ovals where normally there'd be swirls and waves.

There's the silver bite mark he sports on his left shoulder, courtesy of the love nip he got from Death that one time.

And then there's the diagonal slash mark across his chest, that he got from the dude who cut him with a box cutter that one time when he was working as a hitman while trying to run and hide from Death's brother.

While St Mungo's held him as Experiment 122.125 he was essentially vivisected by people who'd never really used a scalpel or stitches. So he's got some lovely autopsy looking scars from that.

In his wanderings in Tortall he got a tattoo of a rat on his right shoulder blade.

I'm sure I'm forgetting some....

Mike, on the other hand, is smooth like a baby's behind.

The Loompas have serial numbers tattoo'd on the underside of their wrists, along with PROPERTY OF WONKA INDUSTRIES.

Ben probably has a couple scars from being a dumbass kid, but nothing to write home about. That'll change in a few months after he gets tortured by, um, his cousin. Happy family fun times with the Solo/Skywalkers!

Oh, and Peter Parker has plenty of scars. MENTAL SCARS. HIS PARENTS ARE DEAD. :|

Meg, Amy, and Hannah all have pierced ears. I wouldn't dismiss Hannah's getting a tattoo out of hand, but she hasn't to date.

Anna's not allowed to get her ears pierced until she's 12. (It's SO unfair!) She probably has the usual assortment of fading childhood scars -- on her knees from learning to ride a bike, etc., but nothing remarkable.

Angela has pierced ears, and confessed at one point to wearing a stud in her belly button "before they became totally Miami divorcée." It wouldn't surprise me to learn she had one or more tattoos, but I don't think that's ever been established.

Verity doesn't have scars; she causes them.

The only one out of all my pups who actually has a tattoo is Izzie - it's a small butterfly on her hip, and it was briefly established at a point in canon, though only referenced the one time in season one.

As far as scars and personal canon go, it wouldn't be much of a stretch to imagine that Sally and Saffron both have them, having acquired them at various points in her life.

Enzo has none as yet (as opposed to his clone-original, who has three out of four). He's only going on twelve, after all; he would get in so much trouble, and they try to keep him out of enough danger to lead to scarring.

He is considering it for the future, though. He wouldn't mind an earring, and possibly a tattoo, although as he is to be in uniform, it would rarely be visible. Most likely design would be Dani's insignia.

Elle has two short, parallel scars at the base of the back of her neck from receiving the Company's tracking injection when she was six, as well as a set of light scars over her shoulder blade from being clawed by a demon in the bar, and one on her upper right arm from being shot by Bennet. And sometime in the future she'll be getting a nice scar across part of her forehead, but she's not exactly planning that right now.

And, yeah, her ears are pierced. I don't know. Maybe some time she can get that SPN anti-demon possession tattoo. That would amuse me.

Considering BSG is so full of tattoos, I'm kind of sad that I'm pretty sure Caprica and Sharon don't and won't have any. Granted, that can be a hazard of getting a new body. Sharon, at the moment, probably has a scar from getting shot by Helo. She might have one on her hand from sticking a cable down her arm, and... I guess it sort of seemed to be implied she had a Cesarean when delivering Hera, so she could have surgical scars from that. Caprica doesn't really have any visible scars, but she probably has some from getting her leg crushed.

Carla, I think I can safely say, doesn't have any tattoos. She does, however, wear lots of pretty earrings, and I imagine has a lot of small childhood- and work-related scars.

Tom has thin scars on his palms from the ritual that made him Lord of the House of Arch, but no tattoos. He only made others get those, ha ha.

Bela has a scar on her hip and pierced ears. She ought to get a tattoo soon.

Gordon looks like somebody's dog chewed up a math teacher. Seriously, he's got scars all around his hairline from where headcrabs tried and failed to get him, he's got a long curving scar across part of his forehead from a piece of shrapnel that hit him in Ravenholm, and he's got bullet and other scars of all kinds on other parts of his body from places he's been bitten, shot, set on fire, etc. And that's with the HEV suit.

Adrian Shephard's got a bunch of scars of his own, but as far as tattoos go he's got a Marine Corps bulldog on one arm. That's about it.

The Medic has several vital pieces of information like blood type and so on tattooed on his left shoulderblade, near the spine. It was common procedure in certain branches of the Nazi armed forces, and while he considers the Nazis in general to have been idiots*, even an idiot can have a prudent idea or two.

Bumblebee has a very faint weld line along all the metal connecting one of his arms to his torso. This is because Megatron ripped off his arm during the Battle of Tyger Pax. Arcee found it and led the medics to him afterwards, and they put it back on, but he's never taken any steps to have the weld marks obscured or brazed away.

Ironhide has more lumps, bumps and scars of similar natures than I can count, and a few unit insignias etched into his armor in places he doesn't show anyone but Lissar- that's the equivalent of tattoos, for him.

*Please don't ask why. The reasons are not as salutary as one might think. He's not a good man.

Kirk has nothing to speak of, not even scars - 23rd century medicine is wonderful.

Knox has the small scar of his bullet wound from two years ago in Kita's world. Otherwise, nothing.

Gibbs probably has a few tattoos, as befits a sailor and pirate, but nothing as noticeable as though you find on Jack Sparrow or most other PotC characters. He's also got a few minor scars from fights of one sort and another.

Charlie has no tattoos or piercings, but he has a lot of scars. If you look closely, you can still see the entry and exit wounds where a small bullet entered his head, flattened, bounced off his skull, and left. His nose is a little twisted, he's got scar tissue all over his arms and torso, and one of his fingers is a little off from being broken too many times.

Liza has scars on her back from growing up getting strapped with a belt for the smallest infractions, but she won't talk about it. She also has two thin white scars on one palm from grabbing the blade of a knife. Various other small scars on arms and legs from a hard life.

The rest of my pups are relatively scar free, with no tattoos or piercings out of the norm.

Fiona has a small through and through bullet wound in her shoulder, from a high powered rifle. It's old enough and faint enough, she can wear a bikini and not worry about getting awkward questions, but the scar tissue gives her issues sometimes. (Canon has her portrayed as flawless. I find this highly unlikely given her personal history. Thus, I improvise.)

River has a few month old bite mark on her shoulder (Millicanon).

Olga... That's actually an interesting question. I imagine she has her own share, and they may even be magical in nature.

Mills is a tapestry of scars. He never got a unit tattoo, but he wishes he had.

Abe is also a patchwork of bite and clawmarks, burns and various puncture wounds. Luckily, he heals up pretty quick.

And for OC's, Khephera has extensive tattoos, including her face. They're cultural, and include the symbols for her clan and her tribe, as well as the kind of mage that she is and who she "belongs" to. They disappear into her hair and down the back of her neck. I don't know if they go any lower down her back. I've never asked.

Alyx has an assortment of scars similar to Gordon's, although most of them have faded with time since they were accumulated over the course of a decade rather than all at once. The most prominent ones are a set of puncture scars on her chest and back from her Hunter encounter at the start of Episode 2. She's actually got a couple of numb spots on her ribcage where the nerves didn't heal up properly.

Bob used to have a skull tattooed on his right shoulder, but it was erased when he was decompiled a couple of summers ago.

Alanna has lots of scars. Most aren't too noticeable, as she's vain enough to use healing magic to lessen them, but sometimes being unconscious makes her miss that window. She has a large scar on her shoulder and many thin, silvery scars across her palms from trying to grab Old Chitral's (an elemental) sword. At her waist and along her upper arm she has arrow scars from the Tusaine War.

There are some she never tried to heal however: four lines on her wrist, per the icon. The first represents her induction to the Bloody Hawk, after her trial by combat; the second was part of the ceremony when Myles adopted her; the third was from the spell she did to meld Lightning and Roger's sword; and the fourth was part of the choosing ceremony she and Adam modified when they didn't want to get married. Heh.

She'd probably have tattoos, if she didn't faint at the sight of needles.

Grace has a large scar on her right shoulder. How she got it is a plot point. Same with the full back tattoo she acquired this season! *weak smile*

Thayet probably has a few scars. Turtle has one under her chin from where she fell off her bike. Dr. Evil got a tattoo of Mini Me on his ankle when he was in prison.

I think Elizabeth kind of wants a tattoo. :D?

Ben is laughing in my head at this question. Do to his current condition scaring is well-nigh impossible, though Wolverine did manage a nasty facial cut once. If he had a tattoo, it would be something military, his unit in the Air Force perhaps.

Artemus Gordon I imagine has a scar or two from knife and gun wounds.

Captain Roland has a scare that runs from her forehead, down her face and to her neck. It was most likely received from a sword. If my Photoshop skills were better, I would add the scare to the Gates Mcfadden pbicons I use but ever time I've tried it just looks wrong and cheesy.

Val's ears are pierced and she has no plans of piercing anything else. She seems to like the idea of a tattoo now that you mention it.

The Devil has scarring on neck, wrists and ankles from her chains, but few people got to see it. Her Milliways' presence has the piercings or tattoos they might need or want to cause the right (or wrong) impression, and no scars at all.

Ben Winchester has no scars, piercings or tattoos. Or at least none he talks about, years of being a jock punchbag must have left a mark or two.

Jordan Kennedy has some (faded) scarring around the stump of her forearm, most of it covered by the interface 'cap'.

Ryu Hayabusa has his share of scars from his years of fighting demons, but no tattoos nor piercings.

Philip Marlowe has a few scars from the scuffles and gunfights he has been dragged into while doing his job, but no piercings nor tattoos.

CJ has tattoos and scars, but no piercings.

Tanya Adams has scars from the War, but no piercings nor tattoos.

Mine are a pretty boring lot, as this goes.
Angel and Conflict Diamond have pierced ears; Cata might as well, but I'm not sure about that. She certainly wouldn't wear dangly earrings, I know that much. They'd catch on things.
Cata's got a few scars from her training/early professional days. It's an occupational hazard, so odds are good she'll end up with more.
Conflict Diamond would love to get a tattoo, but she has yet to find anyone with diamond-bit tattoo needles, and that's likely what it's going to take for her to get one. Her ears were pierced early enough in her life that the invulnerability thing hadn't taken yet; I'm not sure whether the holes would heal up, if she went without her earrings. (She also only wears studs, especially when she's on a heist.)

Well Ichigo's been hurt badly enough to have some nasty scars, but more often than not, canon just ignores this and pretends like his horrible wounds heal up five minutes later. The only scars I DO say he has are one on each shoulder, one in his stomach and one in the center of his chest, as seen here: http://www.onemanga.com/Bleach/58/18/

I figure if canon will acknowledge those ones at least, I will too.
