I am so impressed with myself that I made it to work today. I got back to my house from Denver/BWI by like...11 pm last night? Way past my bedtime for my 5 am wake up call.

How was Denver?

Busy two week stretch ahead for me, with our annual New Exhibition Opening Right After Labor Day, and all the prep that goes with it. Will probably be a little scarcer on the RP front for a while.

Denver was awesome! Our big excursion was to Estes Park to go to the Stanley Hotel for a ghost tour. Such a neat building, and a great drive.

Looking forward to Labor Day weekend to really relax and be lazy. Trips always leave me a bit sleep deprived.

I had to be at chat reference training at 8:30 this morning, too early but I think my job's going to be a lot of fun and crazy and it won't be in the morning. They trust me to be a reference librarian for this graduate and undergraduate libraries, I hope I don't mess up. Now I'm waiting for my next orientation thing and yawning a lot.

Next year maybe I'll get to D*Con. I love cons and want to meet people but money and time have not matched up yet.

Oh though I need to poke people in the Michigan/Chicago etc area since I'd love to connect up with folks this year.
