Alternately: if my glance at a calendar is correct (OH MY GOD HOW IS IT ALMOST 2010 ALREADY), apps will be opening in a matter of days. Anybody new coming into the bar?

And what the hey, we can open it up in general, as we haven't had one of these in a while: what are some characters you might app in the future or have considered apping in the past? Is there a character who makes you go 'THIS SHOULD BE DONE!' but then also comes with reasons that you didn't app them? Tag in with journals you've made but haven't apped to Milliways! Anything goes!

I didn't wind up apping him, because I cannot keep the voice up for extended periods of time and because I can really only write for him when I am furious and/or extremely intoxicated, which is a significant minority of my life.

I wasn't going to app Sam. I really wasn't. I feel like half the fun would be him and Cata actually having the chance to interact (also, HOW MANY ASSASSINS DOES ONE GIRL NEED IN HER HEAD????).
But, you know, I feel like I'm the only person who's ever read the book, more often than not. XD And now that I have, I'm glad I did (even though I think he still hates me after that Tango: Maureen business).

As for people I haven't apped, there's this guy. (Not here, anyway. I do have him in another game, and he's been stalled halfway through canon for ages now because I'm lazy.)
I don't think I could ever get him to trust the food delivery system, given the environment in which he went to school. Also, see above re: Too Many Secrets Assassins.

Hm. There is, as it happens, one character I've considered in the past and decided against who is now up for reconsideration (for February at the earliest, though). I will refrain from mentioning the name, as I know it would get up the hopes of at least two current muns and there's no guarantee I'll actually be able to do the pup.

As far as other I-want-to pups... Doroga, from the Codex Alera books; I'd also like to play Lupin "Wolf" Madblood, from the webcomic Narbonic, but I keep getting some other (anonymous) mad scientist's voice instead. And I'd absolutely love having an Iroh in-game. Most ideally he'd be mine, but just sending my characters to interact with him would be good.

This game is remarkably difficult when I don't have access to LJ login! I didn't app Daisy in part because the Bones crew have gone AU, which is very cool but removes Daisy's existence; I could do my own thing as the sole cast member to go the canon road, but I decided not to. Also, because as entertained as I am by her (and, okay, as much as I adore her), she is insanely annoying and I don't think I could play her for extended periods of time without wanting to punch things in the face. But I still love her icons lots. And I might reverse my decision someday. (I just love her SO MUCH! What is wrong with me!!)

I need to play my current crop more. I've thought about apping Madame Xanadu here. I need to test her out in MM more to get a handle on her voice. And then there's Granny, which sometimes she's there, sometimes she isn't. And her canon's so awesome that I worry I won't do right by her.

(Also hard to have her AND Pan in the same head.)

I keep making rueful noises about Rhys from Torchwood, who even has his own account at not_ranty. I LOVE HIM SO. Also Wilf, Donna's grandad in Doctor Who, because that man is pure awesome-covered wincakes with sparkles of love on top. Sadly, playing him in MM has put me off somewhat as I don't think I have the voice right. Frankly, I'd probably app half the Whoniverse if I could.

I'd also love to have Zoe from Firefly (big_damnheroine) in the bar, but that'd be a little awkward with other players. One of these days, too, I'd like a bash at writing The West Wing's CJ Cregg (enforcercj).

I am eyeing my puplist and the Ghost Of Christmas Fabulous Present from here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_DthzdB8EmA), though. He appears from about three minutes in, and yes, that is David Tennant (and Catherine Tate). I LOVE HIM SO MUCH.

There are a few characters that interest me, but I'm not sure I want to app anyone else once I (finally) get around to deleting a couple of my other characters and bring my character count down to just Jasper. And it still cracks me up that he's the one I'm left with.

Characters from tiny roles in the Iron Man comics unite! This is Rae LaCoste. She is awesome. As for why not apping: tiny role, doesn't speak to me enough. The journal gets some play in most-self-indulgent-AU-ever, though.

I have journals for Gemma Teller-Morrow from Sons of Anarchy and Kelly Kapoor from The Office somewhere, except I can't remember their names. Which is problematic, and they have now been lost to the ether. Oh well! I'd seriously consider playing Gemma if she would have just one other canonmate; Tara or Jax or Clay, maybe. And Kelly ... oh Kelly. I wish I could find her journal; I seem to remember that the username had something to do with BANANAS (there was a part in the show where she was very seriously quoting from "Hollaback Girl." I think) and that I convulsed myself with her icon keywords. She's another one who would irritate me too much for me to handle on a long term basis and whose stream of chatter I couldn't keep up, but she would definitely be entertaining!

I've seriously considered Kurt Hummel, Sue Sylvester, or Brittany from Glee. Brittany is too dumb to live, though, and I could not reproduce Sue or Kurt's dialogue. Hm. I know I've had other characters that I thought about apping. I will come back to edit if I can remember them!
