Okay, no. Is Charlie gonna wake up and feel guilty, or is he going to wake up and think "This is cool, I want it to carry on, screw Bartleby, it was only a crush anyway"? Or something along those lines. *sigh* My brain is addled.

I think I perfer guilty at this point--though he'll also be asking himself why as Bartleby has made it clear he's not interested.

As far as he understands things Bartleby and the Fool are soul mates and that's not going to change--he doesn't even know about Loki, really. And he should still feel like he owes Bartleby some kind of loyalty for helping him--changing one kind of dependency for another, as it were. (You did say in the beginning you wanted it to be fucked up. I think we've got that covered. OH BOY have we got that covered.)

I haven't made it clear I'm not interested, I've just missed the subtle hints that there might be a need for me to make it clear I'm taken. If you see what I mean. :D

Also, when I talked about the Fool, I made sure to make it a little ambivalent - Charlie's aware that there are a few problems, right?

Charlie's aware there are issues but "I'm his" is a pretty clear statement of how B feels, I'd say.

Heh, thanks! The thread was done over vacation. In my mother-in-law's living room. With said mother-in-law and my mom in the room. (They had noooooo idea and were reading their own books at the time.)
