I actually arr-pee'd this week! OOMs, EPs and tag-outs, oh my!

(Well, okay, more like one of each. But still.)

- Ben Wade and Dracula have a run-in, violence and ebil ensue. In related news, Flynn is amazing, full stop. But then again, we all know this.

- Kate Warner celebrates a non-birthday; Paul Avery is sweeter than that cupcake, Kate and Kate Beckett catch up while I weep with laugh at the keyboard, Skellig confounds and intrigues, Jack Bauer has a side of chocolate with that PTSD, and Bill Pardy is ador(k)able.

- Kate meets Rick Castle for the first time; somewhere, Beckett's ears are burning like a four-alarm fire.

All right -- how about y'all? How was your week? That's not-so-code for pimp yo'selves, lovelies -- thread-related or no! Bring out your awesome; I want reading material when I get back from road-tripping to Tennessee tonight.

Earlier in the week, I started some plot ideas I have with Val von Doom by bringing the Val from current canon into Milliways. Little Val got to met Cyborg (http://community.livejournal.com/milliways_bar/22892863.html), Ginny Weasley (http://community.livejournal.com/milliways_bar/22893242.html) and Guppy (http://community.livejournal.com/milliways_bar/22893908.html). I had hoped to have more time to tag her into more threads before moving forward so I think she may be around next week before I have her drag in Ben and force an issue that he has been ignoring. Also, to the mun's of Guppy and Cyborg, so sorry for dropping those threads. Can I pick them up again tomorrow to hopefully wrap up?

I also finally listened to a little voice that's been sitting on my shoulder since I picked up The Hollows series by Kim Harrison. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hollows_%28series%29) I brought Jenks into mixed_muses and he not only caught up with his two team mates, he met a pooka (http://community.livejournal.com/mixed_muses/821407.html), which haven't been seen in millennia (i.e. haven't been shown in his canon yet). Again, I fully hope to pick up those threads tomorrow as Jenks is a lot of fun. It's very liberating playing an obnoxious yet responsible character.

And in RL, I ran a mile on Friday. I haven't run a mile since HS which was some time ago.

Okay now back to House Elf stuff.

Man, this is going to be long, so here we go. Castle and Beckett have been up to some shenanigans of epicness lately.

After Beckett kills the hitman who stabbed her mother, Castle appears at her door with a bottle of liquor and the two dance, drink and are riddled with tension. Back in the bar, Castle shows up for the first time in months and the two wind up at the inlet - where they share their first kiss. Beckett goes to Castle's apartment and the two try to work out what it all means - but that all pretty much goes to hell one late night when massages are given and hot dogs are eaten - culminating in the two of them sleeping together.

There's no time for them to talk at all in the week following, as a case involving fire ants sends them out on the road together, where a crazy fan encounter and conversation over coffee eventually leads to a breakthrough on the case. Later that night, Castle and Beckett share a beer at her place - but Martha's shenanigans force Castle to cut the night short. They agree to go out for dinner the following night - only to have those plans derailed by what appears to be a Jack-the-Ripper copycat (and meanwhile, Castle's just trying to figure out what Beckett means when she said he was "great" in bed - and does Alexis know?).

I didn't do much this week as I spent most of it banging my head against a wall for law school, but I did finally finish this thread, which naturally led to Elle screaming at me that this OOM had to get done RIGHT NOW.

So two whole things, and I am still collapsing. Mrmph. *shuffles off to do property homework*

I know I accomplished things I think but I'm not sure what to link. I found out that my car battery died and have a long list of stuff to do before break. Oh and I have ideas for the shenanignans in our current OOM so we should talk.

In terms of RP, Sameth's canon is slowly moving forward which makes me so happy, I miss playing him. I EPed the Pirate King on Mardi Gras and tagged him out which was lovely fun and kind of broke Tiwa a bit in MM.

Now to see if I can actually get my brain working enough to do all the sorts of work I need to do.

Iiiii actually RP'd this week too.

After years of waiting (literally), Marjory Stewart-Baxter's puppet eggs hatched. Out of Tom's arm. He would like me to clearly state that he is not a blood relation to the spawn, and merely an incubator. Please, no one tell Door. Or Ingress.

And because Merc is clearly a bad AU influence, I have to pimp our Post-Demon Prom AU Sunnydale threads in which high school senior Tom Riddle and Puck are an item, and Tom's best friend, Trixi Black, is kick ass awesome. This is the summary of threads so far. Heh. We've spent a lot of time in this AU. WHEE!

I am really proud of this thread in which freshmen year Trixi and Tom use the The Top 100 Things I'd Do If I Ever Became An Evil Overlord list for their proto-villain learnings.

I WROTE THREADS.

This probably doesn't seem like such a big deal, but it was the first time for me since, like, November! Holmes and Watson make me laugh forever, I really enjoyed Sam's involuntary dance threads (I am too lazy to find links when I have to scroll more than a few times), Riley is being traumatized by a talking dog, and Liz and Ianto are kind of delighting me so far.
