I have never ever ever liked Peter, or understood how anyone could like Peter, until Milliways.

I have that reaction to a lot of JKR's characters, now, actually. I like them *much* better in my head.

but you don't want to get me started on my opinions about JKR.

*grins a bit* Everyone is much nicer in everyone's heads. When I read canon it's actually a bit of a shock. Like, this Sirius is much more like Stealing Harry!Sirius than OotP!Sirius.

I love her for the chracters, but despise what they do. *shrugs* C'est la vie.

OotP!Sirius is (somewhat understandably) an idiot. Most of the other characters don't have excuses for being idiots anywhere near as often as they are.

JKR has excellent plots, but isn't the greatest writer.

Tom and I do have a plot. Sort of. Eventually Sirius will see Teh Light, I'm just not sure how/when yet.

Although after reading Peter's tale, I'm looking at Tom with a mean stare. He's looking back at me and saying in a very pleading voice, "What? I went insane! And it wasn't just me that did that! And I'm trying really hard!"

*pets Tom and whispers things will be okay*

Sirius may totally ignore Tom now, for at least a little while. He's coping with the fact that Peter was horribly tortured and forced to kill his best friend, and he may simply not be able to sort out wtf he thinks about Riddle. So he may just write him out of existence. But the servete spell should still serve him if Tom wants food.

That's cool. Sirius has a lot to sort through. Tom will be happy to ignore him right back, since he's going to be pretty damn happy for awhile. The big sap... :)
