Weekend DE, anyone?

Who do you use for your pups' PB icons? Is it the same as another pup's? Has it caused confusion? Hilarity? Anger? What sources do you use when looking for a new PB? Are you happy with the one you have? Would you like to beg others to make icons for you?

Meh, the way I figure it, if a pup has an actual actor, then that's what they look like and then you get into doppelgängery stuff. Mine is by definition an approximation, and must be taken with a grain of salt.

For starters, I really can't see Enzo wearing collared shirts.

It gets complicated with Evangelion for actual actors. Everyone all 'Elijah Wood' is someone made a really convincing but fake live action trailer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jcA9qsf4JDI&feature=related) so a bunch of people copied it with different ones using the same. Now we're getting a real live action and I doubt he'd be in it. XD But canonically he is Shinji because anything said about Evangelion is canon because it was said, no matter who said it. It gets hard.

I like the idea of calling it 'defining an approximation'. It's a really good phrase for all of this for various canons in general.
