Data thinks there's absolutely nothing to it, but he finds it an interesting aspect of human (and alien) culture.

The astrological zodiac doesn't really exist in Japan, does it? I don't think it's very popular, anyway. *fails at knowing about the country I've studied for 4 years and now live in!* XD The Chinese Zodiac is more what they go by, I think, in which case Eiji and most of the guys on his team were born in the year of the Dog. I think there's a month-like system, too, but I can't be bothered. XD Eiji does believe in fortunes and horoscopes and good luck charms, though. But not any more that most of his teammates.

Interestingly, I find that both Data and Eiji's zodiac signs describe them very well. Eiji was born November 28th, and is a Sagittarius (http://www.psychicguild.com/horoscopes_zodiac.php?sign=Sagittarius). Data (going by his activation date of February 2nd) is an Aquarius (http://www.psychicguild.com/horoscopes_zodiac.php?sign=Aquarius).

I haven't decided Rosalie's birthday yet (it's not specifically mentioned in canon). But she probably doesn't put much weight on horoscopes anyway.

Question Mark thinks it's all rubbish.
