To clarify: there was no curry. Only ~~drag~~ ~~magic~~ magic and drag. Hooray, crossdressing!

Looking back on this confuses the crap out of me for I was too stupid to keyword an Alanna icon and now it just looks like I'm talking to myself. Oops. Anyway. Thom-as-Alanna I shall call Alanna!Thom, or A!Thom for short. Alanna-as-Thom will be T!Alanna.

I was going to hang onto this summary until whatever went down with Roger and A!Thom went down, but then Alanna-mun pointed out to me that this thread began on ~~SEPTEMBER 30 <-I am a dumbass, and you never saw that.~~ OCTOBER 3. OMGWTF. YEAH.

The crack begins. The twins tease each other briefly and go off to accost Roger. Bigby leaves T!Alanna a message about Faust.

Roger is duly accosted. Thom and Alanna do a bad job of pretending to be each other, and Roger is pleasant with them, but also starting to pick up on the screwy magic involved. A!Thom shores up the shields and flees, leaving Roger and T!Alanna to snark. T!Alanna attempts to get Roger to talk about the sekrit plot which he surely has. She fails miserably. Roger, who is evil but not stupid, figures out what's going on and disturbs her with talk of his and Thom's "past" relationship. There is kissing and it is revealed that Roger is not fooled. He is amusingly insane. And T!Alanna goes to look for A!Thom, whom she will not find. I wish to note that at one point T!Alanna says, "I am Thom, Lord Trebond. You killed me. My sister killed you... twice. Some might say we have a very sick and twisted relationship." I die. With laughing. It is a good way to go.

A!Thom has meanwhile managed to trip into Anthy's post. Paul can apparently smell that A!Thom is dead, as the true Alanna should not be. They talk chivalry. Paul disappears.

Anthy observes that Alanna seems more feminine tonight. She plays twisty mind-games and A!Thom resorts to being random. They discuss cats and A!Thom mocks Alanna's naming tendencies. Anthy whips out the watering can for the first time in Too Long, and accuses A!Thom of being Thom, which he denies before fleeing.

Meg asks about the sword-fighting lessons Alanna promised her. A!Thom makes really really bad excuses and runs away.

Schuldig is surprised but not fooled because he's a telepath, yay! He impugns Thom's masculinity for what are plainly unfathomable reasons. A!Thom objects and claims that he isn't insane. They ~~banter~~ ~~argue~~ banter about that for a while. Schuldig is pleased by A!Thom's smart-arse-ity. A!Thom is prickly and gets kissed goodnight. At least one of them is happy.

A!Thom goes to talk to Andreus. They have a pleasant conversation (!) about Thom before he leaves. Andreus is, I think, the only person fooled by the twin-swapping. Heh.

Brennan is initially pleased to see 'Alanna' but quickly figures out what's up. A!Thom, who is insane, drags them under the table, where Brennan is persuaded not to give the game away (to whom, exactly, is a mystery) and freaks out some because he is claustrophobic. A!Thom asks why Brennan calls him pretty but is not satisfied with the answers. He thinks of Roger and Brennan gets very protective. Then he has to go.

Alanna-mun helped summarize, hooray!

Meanwhile, T!Alanna is searching for A!Thom and instead finds a very disturbed Delia. Delia sees through T!Alanna's disguise rather quickly and plants one on her. T!Alanna is not amused and tries to ascertain whether or not kissing Thom is a common pastime for Delia. Finally noticing Delia's fragile state, T!Alanna gets Delia to discuss her run in with Faust. Much to her own surprise, T!Alanna promises to keep an eye out for Faust and clarifies her identity. Delia explains that she knew all along. Delia kisses T!Alanna once more before retiring. T!Alanna remains thoroughly confused.

I AM DEAD. WHY DID I THINK THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA. WHYYY.

Heh. Was planning to walk into the whole "twins in drag" thing, but due to LJ being horrific that night, the conversation never hit the point where it'd be IC appropriate for my character to barge in before muns (myself included) started dropping like flies. So I wound up writing the letter.

I'll check in with Alanna-mun then, just to be safe.
