Good Afternoon!

Hello, I thought I would introduce myself OOC before posting IC. I'm Becca, Zel's player. Any advice to someone who is a novice at journal RP about getting involved?

Best advice I ever got for RPing in any venue is: watch for a while first.

In this particular venue ... well, are you looking for advice on using the LJ medium, or on finding Plot, or what?

Mostly finding Plot -- I think that I have the basics down from observing the community.

Now, watch me screw up my first IC post.

'Kay. In terms of finding Plot, there's three ways to do it:

1) Make friends, and get involved in their plots
2) Make enemies, and ditto
3) Bring some plotty goodness of your own -- characters you already know, odd personal behavior, a Problem that needs to be Fixed, et cetera.

Some combination of all three is usually the best.
