I hope it's okay to put this here, since I wasn't sure where else to do it exactly.

I put up an OOM the other day and the response I got to it was so wonderful. Being pleased with yourself is one thing, and assuming no one hates what you've written is another. But when people take time out to compliment you, and to do it thoughtfully and genuinely, it means so very much. I was struck speechless after every new comment and rode that high for the entire day.

Thank you to everyone who commented on that entry - and to everyone who ever comments on OOMs. Your thoughtfulness is so very appreciated.

(and I think I'm still blushing two days later)
