*is in the process of ranking 97 jobs in order of preference*

How's your job ranking going?

I'm currently categorising them by how many things they have that are good for GP training later, ones that have things I don't want (like two rotations of surgery - eeeeeeek - though I'll almost certainly have to do one surgical rotation because there's only one job without it in Derby), and location. And trying to work out other ways to tweak the system, like putting ones with cardiology low down because some of the candidates with higher scores will likely want those ones.
I've done about half of them since Christmas, but I need to crack on with it because the deadline is soon (25th).

Good luck hon. Hope you get the job you want ♥

It's all about compromise at this stage. And playing the statistics. 40% of us have a score between 70 and 74, mine is 71, and the order of people within the same score is random. So if I was the first of the 71s picked for job allocation, the worst I could do is about my 40th-50th choice.
Fortunately everyone has different criteria of what they want, so they won't all be after the jobs I want >.<.

In other news, it's self assessment time at work. I don't wanna do this! I swear it's managements way of sharing the pain of year end reviews.
