For my part, I was suddenly hit by the urge to write stuff and revisited the four-line fic DE from about three weeks ago.

I...have only managed to keep one within four lines, but whatever. Four paragraphs, if we're lucky. Still, the fact that I've got back to them at all is a miracle - hopefully the rest will follow and then I will feel accomplished.

Meanwhile, in MM, I have a very-pre-canon Rebecca getting some work done (and also hitting it off with an eight-year-old girl who's conducting a xenoanthropological observation).

I don't have time to do links atm, but I'mdoing a thing where every week I aim to 1) do at least one entrance post 2) play with an least one character I've never played with before, 3) play at least one thread between characetrs that have played together before.

I did that this week. I'll keep you updated.

I actually arr-pee'd this week, y'all.

Bat and I posted in a couple pairs of Bill Pardy/Kate Warner OOMs, and afterward, Kate and Bill chat in the bar; Things Are Afoot in Wheelsy, see.

Annnnd I have Ben Wade bartending tonight, so that'll be hella fun. For now, I'mma continue my epic quest to CLEAN ALL THE THINGS.

I've finished one full week of school and work without yelling at anyone. I'm so glad that I've got tomorrow off due to the holiday, but I have an online reference shift tonight.

In terms of RP, a lot of my favorite things have been mentioned, Gene-William, Tower and William and Moist, also Sam meeting Myka again in Milliways. Oh and Jane and the Blakeneys, such fun.

Sameth and Hermione are kind of hearbreaking discussing the perils of different times and attacking the wrong people in Milliways.

William and Anne of Cleeves is off to a great start. Its so strange to not be playing the oldest historical pup in a thread.

I am enjoying being back! I don't want to jinx my RP mojo though, so that's all I'ma say about that. All of my threads have been so much fun!

Because I am a silly person, I enjoyed Antony's bad advice yesterday more than I probably should've. Maybe his headvoice is resurfacing?

And I am enjoying the return of Weyland, including his still-ongoing reunion with Melpomene, and showing Sunshine his new persona as he pursues his quest to build a better Albatros. Gods and their hobbies.

And because I am sadistic, Butch and not!Sundance is kind of rocking my world. Srsly, somebody needs to app Sundance so I am no longer tempted to, because I've already got two other pairs of canonmate pups and that much more would be crazy

And I made a batch of apple chips. I make the best apple chips in the Philadelphia area, and will IRON CHEF BATTLE anybody who wants to claim otherwise.

I am having entirely too much fun with this ongoing thread, in which Trowa chats with X and Cass while they're wearing srs bsns businessperson personas. Just... because they're all easily amused by practicing infiltration skills? There's fake flirting!

I totally recommend all the threads in that post, actually. I'm only in the one, but I find them all hilarious.

Also fun: River, Duo, and Puck! Puck is SCANDALIZED AND FULL OF PROTESTATION. In other threads, he and various accomplices speculate on and occasionally mutilate a poor innocent cat toy, and I giggled all through reading them.

And then I ran about all weekend -- dance teaching a lot of Saturday, spending a day at Arisia (a Boston con) on Sunday, and hanging out with jothra on Monday before more dance teaching. Lots of fun! Also tiring, and the reason I wasn't really online at all all weekend, but I'm still pleased.
