Ask YT
Okay. Ahem.
During a recent DE, someone encouraged me to make YT an advice columnist, and I thought about it and decided what the heck, why not. Although yes, there's a chance we may both regret this later.
So here it is - the first-ever edition of the "Ask YT" advice column! If this goes well I may run an "Ask YT" column on a weekly (or at least occasional) basis. If not, I won't post any more, and we shall never speak of this again.
Have your pups write YT with their troubles and she will give them advice! I feel it only fair to warn you, however, that if YT determines that it's your pup's own damn fault, she won't be shy about telling them so.

I'm surrounded by idiots, and my mun has the worst case of writing fail I've ever seen. How do I hide the bodies?
Sincerely,

Whoa, hold on there, take a deep breath, and count to 10. A bit of justifiable homicide may provide brief satisfaction, but if there's any kind of competent police force where you are you'll spend the rest of your (possibly very short) life regretting it.
There's better ways to deal with your idiot co-workers. The tone of your letter indicates that you have a somewhat aggressive leadership style, which most people consider fine in men but not in the other half of the species. It's stupid and sexist, yes, but it's a problem you're going to have to address if you want to get shit done. Find less confrontational ways to get your co-workers to do what you want.
This means figuring out what makes your co-workers tick. Some might respond best to well-supported rational arguments, others to politeness and positive feedback, and still others to demonstrations of professionalism. It won't be easy to make the change at first, but you'll get the hang of it sooner than you think, and it'll pay off big in the long run.
As for your mun, you should encourage her to watch your canon again and maybe take notes. If she has problems finding inspiration for EPs, have her try tagging other people's EP's instead - there's gotta be at least a few interesting people to talk to around here.
Sincerely,
YT

My not!girlfriend and best friend at Milliways claims to be evil (though I think she just needs serious therapy). I am a superhero. We are from two different worlds both literally and figuratively. Any advice?
Signed,
Troubled

First you're gonna have to explain to me what you mean by "not!girlfriend." Do people keep mistaking you for a couple when you're not? Are you friends with benefits but not really in a relationship? I can only give you useful advice if I know the specifics.
Sincerely,
YT

Okay. In that case you may be making things unnecessarily complicated by worrying about what you don't have in common.
You know the saying "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas?" Well, that's probably not true of Vegas, but if you're not from the same world it's pretty much true of Milliways. You don't have to worry what your buddies in the Superfriends or whatever will think of you boinking someone from the Legion of Doom. I'd just be careful about bringing her to visit your world, if I were you.
And if you two aren't in a romantic relationship, you really don't have to be concerned about whether or not you can sustain one. If you're both on the same page with regards to the friends-with-benefits thing, then if the attraction fades it's no harm no foul, right?
Now, if you actually want to be in a relationship and haven't told her yet, that's a different and much harder problem. But I'm not going to make any assumptions.
If you're asking me for advice on how to get your friend to stop being evil (or having ethical issues, anyway), you're not going to like what I have to say: there's no way to convince her. She has to make that decision herself and bringing the subject up with her will only piss her off. But if she considers you a friend, she may decide to come around on her own. Just keep your fingers crossed.
Sincerely,
YT
