HI GUYS

Okay so! As of this post, there's a canonical-AU Andrew Wells in the bar. He's from the Season 8 comics continuity, and he has never been to Milliways before in his life.

(Don't panic. This isn't permanent.)

An important warning! This version of Andrew is a lot more likely to inadvertently canon-puncture. I will of course not be doing so without specific individual player permission on a case-by-case basis, but if your pup is famous in pop culture, odds are good that this Andrew will fanboy him/her/it/them.

COMICS-CANON!

So,I haven't read the Buffy comics. Is there continuity at all with what's gone on in the Angel comics? I've been pondering pushing Illyria through a version of her most recent comics-canon -- I've tried to keep her at least following a version of the events of After the Fall, but she, Wesley, & Angel have veered off it a little, obviously.

Also, I'd be kind of amused if he canon-punctured Bella (would he have read Twilight? >:D) but I don't think the other Twilight-muns would be as entertained, alas!

There is ... sort-of-continuity. As of current canon, the two titles are very much not in the same timeline, but earlier on they were. maybe. sort of.

And ironically enough, there's reason to believe the Twilight books don't actually exist in the Buffy comics continuity. (There's a villain named Twilight. I feel sure the book series would have been mentioned extensively if anyone knew about it.)

Well, in the Angel ones, there's a Spike-parody of it, sort of? Where Spike is the Edward equivalent or something. But I forget if it's a running gag or if Spike actually somehow did this. In the Angel comics they are or were all briefly sort-of celebrities, which may explain things.

(Yeah, I've... read all but like three of them, and yet my understanding of wtf is actually going on in the Angelverse is shaky because it is a big pile of actual WTF.)

I'm not at all caught up on the Buffy comic, but Buffy did mention the books in reference to Twilight-the-villain, so either they or a very thinly veiled stand-in for them exist in Buffycomicverse.

Of course, this may require us to meet somewhere. Since, you know, we live so far away from each other.

Yeah, I don't know, it would mean a lot of traveling. I gotta save up for the plane tickets.
