Brought on by a rather horrific dream this morning:
What is your pup's worst nightmare?
*tries not to look at David Shen* SRY MAL.

Ult. Ben's would be being alone with no friends or family.
Jessica would be losing her mind again.
Val is another for losing family and friends.
Barbie's would be losing her career.

Zelgadiss: Recurring nightmare of Rezo turning him into a chimera. Zel had trusted Rezo absolutely before that, practically hero-worshiping him, and even the foreknowledge of how the dream is going to turn out doesn't give him the ability to change it.
Sunshine: Always has nightmares. Usually to do with vampires and blood. Recurring ones are when she is wearing a dress made of blood, or is a vampire, or is being turned into something evil through her contact with evil.
Wow. I hadn't realized my pups had so many nightmares... >_>

Yrael actually spent over a century locked away in the deepest basement of the Abhorsen's House, by a particularly untrusting Abhorsen. He was only found by accident by that Abhorsen's grandson, who had never heard of him, and hadn't known he was there to be found. It was a hundred years of darkness, and the awareness of the world moving on without him, up above.
So, yeah.
Hi! btw. :D

Kirk's is to die alone. Followed by watching everyone else die under his command.
Knox's is the Joker. Distantly followed by spending the rest of his life alone.
Charlie relives his deaths, the one from cancer and the one from almost drowning and freezing to death at once.
Gibbs is in the maelstrom.

Adrian gets some nasty ones along the way, but his worst is one from his childhood that occasionally ambushes him out of nowhere: of being very small and standing on a rock on top of a hill as the world is washed away around him, and the water just keeps getting bigger and bigger and bigger.
Neither Ellen nor Arcade will tell me what their dreams are like.
I don't want to know what Medic's dreams are like. I'd have to take a shower afterward. With Lysol. And steel wool.
I don't know if Mordin or Vergil even have dreams. Mordin's species canonically sleeps only one hour out of twenty-four; Vergil rests and recharges but I don't know if Huragok sleep is anything like human sleep.
Belar doesn't sleep, period. His brother Torak did, but Torak was doing time until he could get up and get into a fight over the destiny of the world, and his brother Issa sleeps, but Issa is the Snake God and he's weird. (Yes, Belar is the Bear God. Polar bears don't hibernate unless they're pregnant.)
And Ray... uff. Every so often Ray has a dream that just involves the voice of Nyarlathotep chuckling at him. Nothing else, no imagery, no other sounds, nothing. But it's Nyarlafrickinthotep. That qualifies.

Hell yeah it does. Just having that entity know of you is nightmare worthy.

Those are the normal nightmares. There's also nightmares including one particular rat and the single red eye
that watches over Mordorthat can be summed up most easily as the Animorph version of Satan.Oddly enough, this is all canon and I feel like I'm missing some. D:

Harth's nightmares... um. Are squicky on many levels, and plus the whole prophetic/Slayer dream thing, are complicated.
Sabriel's nightmares tend to either be about Kerrigor or the freed!Yrael that tried to eat her eyes that one time, or about losing her husband and children while off being Abhorsen. Sadly, all three of these things are perfectly rational things for her to be afraid of.

Close second, Buffy doesn't remember him.

Lucas: Oh geeeeeeeeeez, poor Lucas. D: Reliving the night of his mother's death is a big one for him. The only one that's gonna top that is at the end of canon when he learns the Masked Man is Claus brought back from the dead and made into a mechanical chimera, who then remembers who he is, commits suicide, and dies in Lucas's arms. That's gonna be kind of hard to top.

Sameth are the necromancer with added flavors now of sometimes the necromancer trying to hurt Kait instead of just him.
Moist's is getting caught, he doesn't have nightmares very often but that or back in Uberwald with walls around him.
Jane's is being a failure at everything she does.
Demeter's is losing Kore again and with no way she can get her back.
William's is burying his brother or his mother beside his father with the sound of gunshots.
Tumnus' is being a statue again and losing time and letting Lucy down.
The Pirate King's is getting caught and losing his ship.

Teyla's canonically has to do with either turning into a Wraith or being unable to protect her friends.
Lorne's canonically is the Replicators taking over Atlantis
and him having to chase them down barefoot.Posner's involves showing up to the Oxbridge exams in his underwear and being asked a question about some obscure event in Canadian history that he's never even heard of.
Tolkien's is outliving his children and/or letting the Archipelago fall to the Winter King and/or Jack going evil...
Lucifer again doesn't dream, but if he did his worst nightmare would be ending up a servant of Heaven again.
Hatter's is being forced to give up the Resistance to the Queen.
Mikey's is Brian and/or his mom and/or Emmett and/or Ted and/or his uncle dying. That David doesn't make the list doesn't worry him as much as it probably should.
