I plan on renting some form of 1920s gangster movie! And then celebrating the First Quarter-Feast of St. Mark Downs the next day (the others are Easter Monday, November 1, and December 26) by purchasing heavily discounted chocolate.
Ahahah with his helpers. And someone shot Raph, who had sex with Tim (I think?) And then Raph tracked Eros down and beat the crap out of him.
Good times.
I think this guy is technically retired now (don't even remember my own cast list anymore…) but if someone were to find one of Eros' guns in the Lost and Found, I wouldn't object.
*SNERK* Even Raph isn't sure whether or not he had sex with Tim that night. But I remember there being a whole lot of Eris's Cider involved. It's funny that this should be mentioned...*says no more*
Hopefully I'll be busy catching up on tags on Valentine's Day! Because my Milliversary is the day before, and at the very least I hope to stick a multipup post in the Bar. :3
Sadly I have no plans, this weekend I'm going to a Middle School Science Fair for a group project and hoping that all my stuff lines up for graduation. I think it will but its freaking me out a little that it might not.
Its been a long time since I had someone to do Valentines stuff with but my parents usually send me a cute card because mail is always good.
Mmm, Valentine's Day. One of my most favorite of holidays. (It's just behind my top choices of Thanksgiving, Halloween, February 20th, Chaoflux, and Presidents Day.)
Valentine's Day is what begins the annual orgy of chocolate and pleasure that is the hopefully-week-ish long, narcissistic celebration of my birthday, which lands on February 19th, same day as Chaoflux and occasionally Presidents Day, which makes it even more awesome. It's also the hopefully-week-ish long, not-as-narcissistic celebration of my father's birthday, which is why February 20th is listed up there. Valentine's is probably one of the reasons (besides awesome family and friends who make my birthdays so fun) that I look forward to getting another year older, both because people are all ready to party and because there will be chocolate sales to raid.
It also means I get to put my culinary skills to good use, making treats for my dad that he only seems to ask for on special occasions. This year, his birthday cake is going to be a variation on opera cake based on his favorite candies, chocolate covered cherries.
In semi-related news, today is Mia's birthday/Milliversary. Expect her to be posted in.
I don't really celebrate Valentine's day. The fact that up until a few years ago it was vastly less commercialized around here and in fact wasn't really celebrated at all until the 80's more or less may have something to do.
*flops, still coughing some and huddled with tea* Would like my co workers to stop coughing and sneezing around me.
Valentine's Day just Feb 14th to me, never had anybody to celebrate it with, barring family cards, and working a late shift. My only real plans are for the day after so I can get my worn tires replaced.
Iiiiii will be visiting a quinby for Valentine's Day! So, and there will possibly be a post about this: Friday afternoon through Wednesday, I will have spotty to no Tubes access, as I'm leaving Hex here. Her computer's having connectivity issues at the moment, so I don't know if I'll be on at all; if I am, things will be in uberslowtime, as her computer's a grumpy thing anyway.
On the day of? No. We'll celebrate the day before like we did last year: taking forever to cook dinner at home in the way that only two culinary students can, bitch about orange chiffon, and watch a movie. Shaun of the Dead, if I get my way.
I'll be celebrating the day after with discounted candy -
I'm working solo in the clinic that day, so I'm probably going to get run over with a spate of chocolate toxicity cases, and something will probably break. Again. (My last two 'fridays' had this factor - first the computer system crashed and died, and the last one involved an exploding centrifuge. fun times)
For the record, I will help prevent any and all chocolate toxicity cases in the SoCal region, just bring the chocolate to my clinic and me and the techs will happily eat it for you. :D!
I didn't even know chocolate toxicity was a thing. I'm not hugely surprised, since pretty much anything can be toxic if you ingest enough of it, but I still didn't know about it.
For dogs, though if a person eats enough of it it does pretty much the same thing. It'd... have to be quite a lot, though. Last one of those I had was right before Christmas. Pup nipped up on top of the table and chowed down on an entire box of Sees candy. Pup had good taste.

Anyone else remember the wacky year when Cupid was on the loose and zapping pups left and right? Those were the days.
