Damn. I'm way overdue on the summarizing, aren't I... Well, it's a good thing I've started with the practice of putting every one of my conversations into my memories. Makes things easier to summarize.

It begins when Crichton comes flying through the front door.

The very first person to notice is Angie, naturally. She comes rushing over, followed by Meg, Andrew, Raph, Tim, and Peter. Raph is initially stupid, while Angie gets with the warming magic. Meg pulls a blanket and a box of curry out of her tutu, only one of which is any help; Andrew, of course, immediately recognizes what's going on, which gets the seriousness of the situation through Raph's thick skull. When Tim starts healing, the gun in Crichton's hand goes off in his grip, and Meg tosses it in the vague direction of the bar.

Angie is worried out of her skull, but Andrew reassures her that Crichton will live through this. Peter shows up at around the same time Raph comes back with a cup of frelling tea, which is supposed to help somehow. After a short discussion of whether or not pouring the tea down Crichton's throat will help him or choke him to death, Meg ends up clutching the teacup forlornly.

Tim does the whole mental reassurance mojo. Crichton finally comes to, sees Angie, and faints. They discuss bringing him upstairs, and settle on taking him to Angie's room.

----

It's a while later, Crichton's not sure how much, when he wakes up in Angie's room. He struggles even to remember her name, and thinks he's dead. He doesn't remember Andrew, or the pensieve.

Crichton tells Angie how he got here. His talk is very distant; it's clear he either barely remembers her, or doesn't still hold the same feelings, or both.

Crichton comes back into the bar for the first time, and has a conversation with Xander. Xander is snarky, Crichton is also. There is comparison of who is worse off, introductions are made. Comas are discussed. Xander is surprised to learn that there's even a possibility of trying to leave the bar; he doesn't know yet if he's bound or not. Crichton introduces him to the joy of food cubes, teaches him to be nice to the bar or else, and heads back to bed.

Meanwhile, in another continuity at the same time, Crichton orders pancakes. There is more memory confusion, but he seems to remember Raph perfectly well. Then Angie asks the big question, and discovers just how little Crichton remembers about the two of them. She gives Crichton a summary of what he doesn't remember happening before he left, too spurius to do any good. There is angst. Crichton covers his mouth with duct tape, goes on an irrelevant rant, and goes back up to bed.

There is ominousness that night in his room.

Well, that's part one. My laptop battery's dying, though, so I'll post this now and post the part two summary laterish. I won't be around tomorrow morning (tonight for anyone not in Israel) because I'm headed to Tel Aviv. If any of the links are broken, lemme know.

Hooray for initial stupidity!
