Putting aside the fact that Batya and I don't observe St. Valentine's Day, I am planning to not be home tonight as there is a preview screening of the new animated Superman DVD that I grabbed tickets for. So my pups will not be around for Cupidian crack. That said, if anyone has a female pup they would like to have fixate on Cyborg in slowtime, feel free to contact me.

Otherwise, Charlie is not one for Valentine's Day, Kirk and 99 are already having a reunion, and Knox is too mopey about Rapunzel to be anywhere near the bar. Besides, in his timeline it's April 14 and he's paying his taxes.

This is the first year ever I'm going to be on the "sickeningly cute couples" side instead of the "defiant singles" side of Valentine's Day. Having a boyfriend is weird, Steph. :O

Anyway, there's stuff in the works of the dinner/movie variety, and maybe ice skating if the suddenly unseasonably warm weather doesn't shut down the rink. We shall see!

Probably not. Neither of them's from a world with a Valentine's Day, and I'll be likely out of contact from noon to about seven or eight in the evening. I don't generally start anything on Mondays these days, anyway.

But Dylan's song (with them backing) was "Maggie's Farm", and I kept expecting him to turn around and announce to them, "I MAY NOT WORK ON MAGGIE'S FARM NO MORE, BUT YOU ALL WORK FOR ME. SO ~*WORK*~." Like. RuPaul-style.

Steph. It was just. It was exquisite. I am kicking my feet in an entirely different kind of glee than I was when Mavis Staples won for You Are Not Alone.

Sariel doesn't really do the Valentine's Day thing; the Hallmark holiday aspect of it hasn't really carried down the centuries, thank deity of your choice. As for me? I'm not doing a darn thing. I'm awake and writing up an assignment, I don't like Mondays. I'm not doing anything except going to my two classes and still trying to figure out graduation stuff.

I'm going to work, followed by dinner and a movie. With my parents. To get out of the smell of the primer the painters are covering the house with today.

My parents are going on a dinner date, to a less expensive restaurant than they usually go to but still a classy one (with an eye to possibly taking some old friends of the family there when next they're in town). I'm going to take myself someplace else, probably a casual dining place.

Most of my pups are letting V-day slide. Orpheus will be incredibly mopey and playing/singing about it, thus making everyone around him mopey.
