I did my prompts from Friday's DE - the first ficlets I have done in forever - and they were, IMO, awesome! The ones for Cy will probably come into play fairly soon, the one for Knox included an idea I am batting around for the long, long run. And I wonder if anyone will get the common threads in the names of the OCs in the first Kirk fic.

Friday's DE was such ridiculous fun! My office is mired in an FDA audit — which is exactly as fun as it sounds — so I didn't get to leave nearly as many as I wanted; I cannot wait to sit down tonight and fill prompts, and scroll through to see what everyone has done.

And, b'aww, those ficlets! I have particular love for the Cy-Bobby-Rachel one, and Knox/Rapunzel.

People, I am still having a ridiculous amount of fun with last Sunday's bartending shift with Raylan Givens.

I do apologize for my honkin' lag/slowtimes — and thank you all so much for indulging me! I road-tripped to Nashville after work Tuesday to catch the Punch Brothers at Mercy Lounge (which, eee), took a vacation day Wednesday to drive back home/recover, and walked smack-dab into the middle of a surprise audit when I got back to work Thursday; I had friends come into town this weekend, and a sickly mutt to contend with, so among work, hitting the gym, and shenanigans, I have been mostly dead by the time I crawl into my pajamas.

That said: I LOVE Y'ALL, I LOVE THESE THREADS. I am zipping out for some quality time with the elliptical, but when I'm back home? More tags, more writing, more everything.

Cata is wondering why some people are shortchanging themselves of some perfectly good assassins from the sound of things; Conflict Diamond and Nori are talking about the downsides of superpowers, among other things; and, back in Slowtime Land, Claudia is explaining her MacPherson-hunting program to Wellard. (And a lot more than that, considering he's got the whole 19th-century thing going for him.)

Also, even though I only got the one prompt Friday, I really like my fill on it (spoiler warning for the end of Warehouse 13 season 2/a side mention of a casting spoiler for next season). And I will totally take more prompts if people want!

Artemus Gordon actually did stuff! Namely getting his ass kicked by Gene (http://community.livejournal.com/milliways_bar/23916286.html?thread=1075670014#t1075670014), catching up with Kate Barlow (http://community.livejournal.com/milliways_bar/23916286.html?thread=1075488766#t1075488766), meeting a young gentleman named William (http://community.livejournal.com/milliways_bar/23916286.html?thread=1075514622#t1075514622), and, because he is a law abiding citizen, getting arrested by Shifti (http://community.livejournal.com/milliways_bar/23916286.html?thread=1076206846#t1076206846). Out side of the bar fight he even met Arcade (http://community.livejournal.com/milliways_bar/23914551.html#comments).

Can I just take this opportunity to say that bar fight was ridiculous amounts of fun? Even Thalia got in on the action (http://community.livejournal.com/milliways_bar/23916286.html?thread=1075670270#t1075670270).

I also did a couple of OOMs for Ult. Ben Grimm (http://community.livejournal.com/milliways_bar/23923032.html). Pets the pup, it'll get better.

I'm also pretty pleased with this ficlet from Friday I wrote for a mixed_muses pup (http://p226love.livejournal.com/952.html). Warnings for spoilers for Andrea Nash's past (and the short story Magic Mourns) and allusions to child abuse. I swear I am going to write up the other prompts on Monday.

I'm with Alex - I'm having way too much fun with the hijacked DE (http://community.livejournal.com/ways_back_room/4629338.html?thread=61345114#t61410650), though I still have quite a number of prompts to fill. I'm still taking more! :D

I wrote my first fic in about a month, and I'm actually really proud of it. Although I'm not sure the critical intersection of knowledge bases is going to make in comprehensible for anyone. (Homestuck canon and a Jewish holiday, in accordance with the fandom tradition that Karkat's girlfriend is Troll!Jewish.)

Nevertheless, I really liked how it turned out, so I'm linking it anyway!

Thirding the love for the hijacked DE. I don't often write fic about my pups outside of OOMs, and it's been fun to do that. I'm hoping to get to the rest of the prompts early this week.

I'm loving all the prompts and I'm open for more.

Sadly I still don't know when I'm going to graduate so being able to keep busy with writing and the Bar fight has been amazing, as has everyone who's listened to me try not to fall apart. There is a way through this red tape, I just haven't found it yet.

And today I dropped a new headvoice (http://community.livejournal.com/mixed_muses/992530.html) into mixed_muses, in the hopes of exorcising him from my brain.

I did stuff! Bobby fell in love with Rachel and made an ass of himself, and Rapunzel wrote another letter to Alex and I finished a slowtime where Bobby tried and failed to convince Jordan to try not to be evil.

I am sorely neglecting my other pups, but I have IDEAS for some of them.

I have throughly been enjoying the prompts, to the point of not having answered the last one, so as to get to enjoy it longer.
