I just walked to work in the snow as I get to start my Spring Break, lately I'm just not approving of Michigan, but I did get my morning tea.
What do your pups do to wake up in the morning? Do they eat breakfast, drink coffee, tea or something else?
or I'm about to have a break and need things to do. What are your favorite things for recovering from a stressful time?

Romana does not know why you're picking on mornings in particular. It is very diurnal-oriented of you. What about the nocturnal species (not that she is one)?
(Answer: She's not so frequently tied to one time zone that it becomes an issue.)
Cal goes for a run, something he picked up a long ways back.
Katya goes to sleep - she's used to waking up sometime in the afternoon, cruising through the night-time hours, and crashing as the sun comes up. Hey, Nightwatch.
Shaz has her morning routine - breakfast, tea, paper, tunes, walk to work, get the uniform on, make more tea...
Laranth goes through a morning set of exercises to limber up.
Bones wants coffee. Lots of coffee. Black, strong, coffee.
(And an Olga wouldn't be bad, no not at all. :D)
In other news, I offer this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_S5cXbXe-4) for morning giggles.

Has Katya's schedule changed at all since she's been in Milliways?

Urquhart, on the other hand, has no routines. He thinks routines make you vulnerable, careless, and predictable.

Jessica is an early riser and doesn't need much to get her going. She prefers a relaxing cup of espresso, fruit and some breakfast pastry though.
Val has her curiosity to wake her up.
Barbie sings to wake up as does Jenks, although in Jenks' case mornings are evenings as well as pixies are primarily crepuscular.
As for relaxing after stress, movie nights are always fun especially if you can get a few people together. Banana slits are good as well.

I'm definitely planning on some movie nights thanks to Netflix and I'm going to actually head out to the movies at least once. That's one of my favorite ways to unwind and I don't remember the last time I had a banana split.

Lorne gets up, goes for a run and heads straight for the mess for coffee, if they have any and McKay hasn't drunk it all already.
Nikola rarely sleeps, and when he does, he doesn't have any trouble getting up in the morning. He drinks coffee occasionally for the flavor, but not because he needs the caffeine.
Orpheus is up with the sun every morning, usually already out busking, though sometimes he just plays for himself in his apartment or wherever he's living. Sometimes he forgets to eat, but even when he doesn't, he plays for an hour or so before having breakfast.
Hatter is a tea man. :)
Posner has tea forced on him in the morning, and toast if he's in a rush to get to school. Otherwise his mum tries to get him to eat a proper breakfast.
Lucifer almost never sleeps.
John likes tea and a full English with his morning paper, when he can get any or all of those things.

I wouldn't be surprised to find that Kain often sleeps standing up, to give the impression that he never sleeps. As such, when he wakes up he's as unobtrusive about it as possible. He eats at the same time as his men, and probably the same food.

M_M pups:
Ash stumbles around his apartment in his underwear, cursing as he bumps into things, until he finds the coffee maker and downs two sugar-laden cups. He follows that up with a bowl of Cocoa Puffs and tries to tame his hair before heading to his Krav Maga lessons and then clocking in at the S-Mart.
Molotov likely never got in from the previous night's recon mission. She has a series of stretches that she does every morning, and some weaponry exercises before taking a snooze.
Dorothy has tea while checking her class schedule and likely bantering with her mother and Rose (Blanche is, of course, a late riser).
Dixie is a late riser (club shows plus Brisco = need for sleep). When she does get up it tends to be past noon unless she's on the trail, and she lounges around in a satin robe, enjoying her morning coffee and a late meal.
Lenny has to be up by six to drive his truck. Don't ask what he and Squiggy eat for breakfast; whatever it is, it's nutritious and fortified and will likely ruin your breakfast.

Gordon doesn't sleep much, and when he does it's fitful stuff. He sleeps better with Alyx close by, but he still snaps awake at the slightest provocation once he's out of REM and into other phases of sleep. Breakfast is fine when he can get it but it's not a part of any particular routine for him.
Adrian is pretty successful at waking up at a time of his choosing, which is usually gross o'clock of the morning. Once he's up he gets his eyeball dog and goes outside for PT. Food happens after the workout and the shower, not before.
Mordin sleeps ten minutes at a time and only requires a total of one hour out of every twenty-eight. This has led the Normandy crew to believe he doesn't sleep at all.
Vergil recharges in a structure the crew of the Spark In Darkness refer to as a 'squid house', and comes out after several hours at full operational capacity. It's a species trait.
Ellen tends to sleep in chunks of three and a half hours, as she's been traveling on the surface for a while with only Dogmeat as a companion, and sleeping a full night in the Wasteland with only one guardian is a good way to get eaten. She usually eats when she gets up and does her best to clean her teeth and face; hygiene is a Vault habit she hasn't lost.

Petting the dog. Having 55 lbs of happy pit bull lap terrier makes everything better.

Agreed about happy pitttie pup on your lap. There's few things better than having a pittie smile at you while you pet them.

Cyborg and Charlie are (like their mun) self-starters. The thought of Cy on caffeine is horrifying. Cy, does, however, have a huge breakfast.
Gibbs does tea, being a proper Englishman, but would do better with black coffee.

For relaxing, I am ridiculously simple. I go for a drive. Don't plan ahead, don't think of where you want to go, just get in the car and drive. Put on your favorite mix CD; roll down your windows (if you can); drive down a road you've never been down before; get terribly lost. Look at the world outside your window. Let yourself be inspired by something simple, something new. It's what I do when I feel blocked or caged in. Sometimes I drive for hours, and treat myself to a new restaurant. No matter how long I'm gone, I always come back feeling like I've shed a second skin.

Kate's answer makes me think that a sweet little OOM might be her and William meeting and talking in the stable one time when he's spent the night at the Bar.

Kendra is suspicious of mornings. In this life, at least. But if she can get up and fly to watch the sunrise, she finds a sort of peace and quietness in her soul that's rare for her. It's the same species of contentment that she finds in Carter's arms.
Lockjaw loves mornings - BREAKFAST!!! FOOD!!
Black Mamba thinks of mornings as business since that's when she and the other girls go over offers and assignments. She has to have coffee to function, but also enjoys a cup of tea if Cleo is drinking it (Cleo likes tea). (By "girls" I mean the other two members of BAD Girls: Diamondback [Rachel] and Asp [Cleo].)

Sometimes he skips the coffee, because Trowa is the kind of guy who makes sure he's not addicted to the caffeine. (It's not a moral opposition to stimulants; on the contrary, he would like to make sure that it still functions for him as an effective stimulant when needed, and that he doesn't have to deal with withdrawal without a good reason.) Around maybe 8, Cathy gets up, and at that point they have a proper breakfast and Trowa socializes with human beings instead of a computer screen.
River is another relatively early riser. She meanders into the kitchen whenever she gets up, hangs out with whoever's there (probably only a few people -- whoever else is up early, and very possibly Naomi a lot), scrounges for easy food or happily mooches someone's cooking if there's any to mooch. Coffee, no, because she hates the stuff; tea, however, yes. I don't think tea is a strict morning routine for her, but she likes it.
I suspect earlyish mornings are play time with Naomi pretty often. This is good for River, Naomi, and Naomi's parents.
Lan, I'm honestly not sure. Uh. He eats breakfast unless circumstances don't allow? Nowadays they generally do.
Honey has cake. SHOCK.
Aaaand this has taken me a good couple of hours to type around work, and now I must run. So you just get those four!
