A butterfly fits Ophelia's personality, or at least her current one - but wouldn't her daemon have settled before she went mad? So what would it be for the original Ophelia?

I rather want her to have something that will take be able to physically take care of her, if necessary, which a butterfly certainly can't.

The daemon can't be that strong, though, unless you posit some inner strength in Ophelia which we have not seen. You could certainly posit it, though.

He's a former minion at this point. When a guy who has been the servant of ultimate evil starts thinking about repentance, atonement and redemption--and then starts trying achieve those things--I think that minionhood has left the building.

Wouldn't it have to? You can't be a minion if you're thinking, "Hey, these people don't really deserve this," or, "Um. No, not gonna cut off my hand for you. Sorry!". It's kind of sweet.
