Weekend entertainment.
I have this party-game book of questions from like twenty years ago that I don't know how it came into my possession but hey, it's things to think about, and I was going to pull some questions from it for this week but you know, srsly, half of them work better as drunken party-game questions and the other half are kinda bringing me down right now, so I'm going to take a more uplifting approach.
What makes your pup happy/cheers them up when they need it? Besides friends/family/significant other(s), that is. Hobbies, comfort foods, old-favorite books/movies/whatever, places they go, things like that. You can answer for yourself too, if you want.

Mallory will bake cookies or something when she's worried, other wise, fencing or training helps her focus on something other than feeling bad, and when she's done, she's usually in a good mood.
KK builds stuff. Karl gardens.
Rapunzel sings or plays the violin or piano; sometimes she paints.
Mother Nature pretty much just annoys people, and sometimes punishes them for crimes against nature.

The writing in his journal doesn't quite count as comforting.

...Cup of her own blend of Java for when work is stressful.

Jessica: Guacamole, base jumping (without a parachute) or going on patrol.
Val repairs or makes something. Or goes shopping.
Jenks say honey or pranks on his partners. Nothing beats the look on a vamps face when you've messed with her underwear.
Thalia says sword, spear or bow work. And loud music.
And for myself, I'm with Thalia and go for good tunes.

Mia loves prettying herself up, particularly painting her nails or getting her hair curled. She does the latter every other week but sometimes she's in a slump and needs a little boost. Books, too, are a good one for pick-me-ups. And candies from Honeydukes or Draco's cooking.
When I'm feeling low, I get something that's guaranteed to make me cry and just let it all out. Because I never underestimate just how much better I'll feel after a good cry. The usual candidates to trigger the waterworks are Up, Despicable Me, Milk, the Futurama episodes The Sting and The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings, the Harry Potter books, Mother 3, and music that I find particularly beautiful or nostalgic. (I'm probably the only person in the world who tears up at hearing orchestral versions of the original Pokemon Red and Blue theme. Don't laugh too much. u.u') When I'm not purposefully trying to get myself to cry, I usually cook or find my comfort foods, mainly things with milk-to-dark chocolate, citrus flavors, black tea, or ideally all three. One of my favorites is Ritter Sport chocolate bars, especially fruit and nut or cornflakes. In fact, I could do with one of those now...

Sameth loves making things, he goes to his workshop and if he ends up making something someone enjoys that's even better.
Moist enjoys fairly simple and sensual things, good food, good drink, great sex.
Demeter's pretty much the same as Moist but that gardening and cooking also always improve her mood.
Jane loves reading a good book and writing, also dancing if her partner is a good dancer and witty.
William likes having the time to read or the time to go riding out where its just him and the sky, the world seems more possible there.
Tumnus is baking and reading though anything with Lucy makes him happy.
The Pirate King is rather simple, kissing beautiful women, drinking good sherry and being a pirate.
For me, walking around when I don't have to be anywhere, cooking, driving with good music playing and talking to friends, venting is a wonderful thing when life seems chaotic.

Finn: Sketches, spends time by himself outside.
Helen: Reads INFORMATIVE BOOKS and only interacts with SENSIBLE PEOPLE. I'd say "winning arguments" but honestly Helen knows she is always right, so anything less than winning would be an insult to her pride.
Rue: Practices dancing incessantly.
Cathy: Drinks smoothies; explores if it is daytime; finds her brother to hug for a bit. Finds her brother to explore with?
Mitt: YELLS AT PEOPLE. Tricks people out of their money :D. Passes secret rebel documents right under the nose of the secret police :DDDD. Avoids everywhere that makes him sad/upset.
Legolas: WHAT IS THIS SADNESS YOU SPEAK OF. Um, mostly if he is sad he's actually in mourning, and he spends a lot of time in quiet places, or with others who are mourning, for mutual strength. If he's sulking because he doesn't want to do something he's supposed to do, he does it but he pulls ridiculous faces. But he makes himself feel better by adding flourishes to his work.
Quatre: If there is a practical solution, he slavishly pursues that practical solution. If his sadness is Trowa-related, given the whole "oh yeah I kind of killed you accidently even though you survived" thing, he will contact Trowa to make sure he's okay/reassure himself he isn't dead. If it's a guilt issue over something non-Trowa-related that can't be fixed -- say, the colony he destroyed, or his father, or the fact that THERE ISN'T AIR IN SPACE NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO [Duo's exaggeration of Quatre's guilt in canon, BUT ACCURATE]-- ...he plays piano or violin. Occasionally incessantly. And does not appreciate physical contact.

Or if my brother is home I let him give me a GREAT BIG HUG and then start making awful jokes at his own expense and then kidnap me to go bowling or to the movies :DDDDD. My brother is awesome. Rarely home, however, given nightshift.

Dixie: We never see her at leisure, and I bet she'd consider going to the theater working. Probably the world's oldest sport, preferably with Brisco.
I eat cheesecake brownie ice cream. And write. And wash dishes. And watch cheesy Bruce Campbell movies. Like, all the time!
