Sunday Indulgences

The world this week has been full of ups and downs and I think this Sunday its important to celebrate what we do.

Share with me what's brought you joy this week, Milliways.

Sadly I have no gif to give you, but have this space to be happy. Also Spring is coming, its warmer and the snow is melting.

I'll start with Tumnus and Wrex, where else but Milliways can two such different species meet and end up talking about geography.

I'm still having way too much fun with my sister's Knights over in Mixed Muses. I messed with Augusta's head a little bit by throwing her in feeling wistful over some letters (http://community.livejournal.com/mixed_muses/998307.html), after my sister sent me a beautiful excerpt of past canon. (How many other people can say that their favorite author writes them pairings by request for their birthday? :D)

All of the Knights I've played have met (http://community.livejournal.com/mixed_muses/1001144.html?thread=78533816#t78533816) Tiwa (http://community.livejournal.com/mixed_muses/999691.html?thread=78637323#t78637323) now, and I've adored every thread. ♥

I'm drawing an epic picture for my sis, and it's progressing nicely. I've laid down the base color, and I have to say it's a happy sparkly rainbow. Just have to do shadows and the background, and I guess I'm still deciding if I have the energy to bother with any textures.

Oh, and I guess I technically survived a tsunami. :/ Thanks for your prayers for all of the victims, guys. ♥

And what better after a rough week than a headvoice who knows the feeling?

In RL news, my [livejournal.com profile] au_bigbang story is rolling right along (haven't added to it this weekend, but I have a couple Ideas for going forward), and I learn NEW STUFF at work tomorrow. \o/

I... got two new pups that I haven't had the chance to play yet but have been enjoying plotting things for? And I have some OOMage in the works for existing pups (one in particular who has a backlog of four or five stories I need to get through to bring her up to speed, but they should be fun, if evil).

I'm also a quarter of the way done with that afghan I'm making, and I cleaned out my hall closet.

In terms of things that people outside of my head or my apartment can see, just finished a very nice chat between Elrond and Butch Cassidy, and am enjoying the slows I'm wallowing in, particularly the one where Tony and Clementine discuss sex, drugs, and bad art.

Fi, this is more a shout-out than an indulgence, but: thank you for always rocking it with the recognition and the commendation! I've been meaning to say so for a long while. I love that you almost always do a shout-out and jump in when you see an opportunity to share the love. It makes me grin without fail all the time. ♥


In RP news I haven't done a whole lot. I have many, MANY LOTS FAMILY VISITING THIS WEEK, so I have no idea if that will change. But I tag away, slowly (so slowly) but surely and have OoMs in the works, so yay? ILU ALL.

Been mostly reading other threads (Loved the Tumnus and Wrex) and keeping Slows alive this week. I did introduce Milliways Speed Dating which was insane fun.

In RL I got my first new car! The pain of the car buying process/car loan application is fading so I'm able to enjoy the car which is pretty rockin'.
