ugh medicines with nasty mood-related side effects

I don't know about you, but I happen to love the cranky-old-man rant stylings of Andy Rooney, probably because I can work up a good rant myself. They're the most fun when they start out a little over-the-top and wind up bordering on nonsensical; really, if you're going to be annoyed about something you may as well be entertaining with it.

What (generally really insignificant thing) would your pup go into a rant like that about? Are there any things that you personally get annoyed with and can work something up about? It's all in good fun.

Jack probably has a few things that he can get argumentative about (*eyes the Senate hearing that started Season 7*), but I think he saves his real ranting for the days when the shit hits the fan and things are kind of tense.

As for me? Two words: Season. Eight.

Clemmie: The way people cannot match their damn eyeshadows with their clothing. The fact that possession of pot is criminalized in Reno. Pull-ups and how much they suck. Why others don't believe in 'karmatic recompense.'

Dixie: High heels, and how damn much they make her feet ache. She also has strong opinions on songs, and which key they should be sung in.

This fool: Any current celebrity scandal. Seriously. According to comics canon, he's addicted to celebrity gossip.

Me: Half of Ash's canon and AOD comics continuity, Season 6 for Clementine, the fact that there IS no season 2 for Brisco,

Lucas: The people who come to gawk at his lightning-struck house.

Mia: Ummm, I dunno. She's not much of a ranty sort. Infodump sort, sure, but not really ranty.

Me: The Lunar DS game that doesn't exist according to any Lunar fan you'll meet, the fact that Mother 3 has never officially been released in America, the fact that it's unlikely any of the Mother series will be re-released in America, and the stupid things people do that are exposed on the internet. But that last one's all in good fun.

I'd love to see someone provoke Wellard into a rant. *amused* There are a few things I can think of that would get him going. Mostly, someone saying how 'easy and relaxing' sailing is.

Nooooot really. I will occasionally rant about things like, oh, homework or the cruel tendency of laws of physics to not do what I want; I'm not much good at the fake vitriol, but I can work up some over-the-top sulky flouncing in the right mood. But can you picture Trowa or Lan frothing at the mouth to let off steam about something small? Yeah, me neither. And River's not verbally articulate in the right ways to find it satisfying, and Piotr is generally easygoing and keeps a tight rein on his temper.

Lan will get repressively stonefaced about insignificant things, sometimes, but that's sliiiiightly different.
